Thats because he was reacting to "but the sad thing is, this is a pointless thread, cause this "merge" is in cowboy's interest and fits his agenda and as long as he is in charge, "masters" will play in B next season. " which is a disgusting statement and this attitude is exactly why nobody organizes CL for more than 2 or 3 seasons. People going complete conspiracy theory on stuff and bashing leaders because they dont agree with something. Nobody likes seeing this comment which is why nobody said anything about it.

Wow, this thread is ridiculous. I've seem my fair share of clan league drama, and I thought this issue was settled with the 101st/Outlaws conundrum.

I remember Beren or Deadman saying something a while back when 101st were floating ideas about taking over FCC's slot via using this rule. He said that the spirit of the rule was to ensure that the community of players could continue to play for the appropriate slot. The idea is that if the majority of players leave to another clan, they keep the slot since they are the de facto continuation of that community. Therefore it would had not be appropriate if 101st were to have used the rule at the time since FCC had been disbanded at this point and that community had ceased to exist. (For the record it would have only worked had I joined 101st, which I was waffling about at the time).

Now, by masters bringing in Apprentice players, is that an active continuation of the Apprentice community? I would say yes. Masters had barely any active players in it before this merger. By bringing in the active community Apprentice, they players in Masters who were in apprentice do indeed represent the continuation of the Apprentice Community.

Therefore, Master clan should have the A/B slot.

As for changing the rule, why rework the wheel? Why change precedent? This was a precedent set after much languished drama on more than one occasion. It works well. It is clear. How else do you propose to deal with succession issues? What if I made a new clan today and moved all the FCC players there? This rule is designed to protect communities of players from their slot being slot poached or otherwise lose their slot. Apprentice worked hard to get into A, and now some of you are complaining that this is somehow "unfair" that these players get to keep their hard earned work and all of the sudden lose it. Arguing that they should start over is just jealousy and jockeying for position.

As usual, Masters don't respect other clan and the essence of the Clan League.
They don"t understand the symbol of the clan.

It's ridiculous. Go to the Div D or change for another clan like SNinja! That a true Clan !

So why are you turning a blind eye to Irise insulting cowboy and spitting on the work he has done? Mod just retaliated. Whilst that doesnt excuse mod, it doesnt mean he is the only problem here.

To anybody saying that Masters being in control of positions of power is a problem, remember, everything here is done on a voluntary basis. Everyone had a chance to volunteer for either the CL Panel, Ethics Panel, or Audit Panel. Just because Apprentice (now Masters) were more proactive in the community, doesn't mean there is some conspiracy going on.

FC talking about rules and how the community can change it.. mod talking about french/italians persons without sense every time..

IRise is a troll, anyone who takes him seriously on this matter, doesn't know him very well.

I think on these circumstances Masters should be allowed to play in Division A/Divison B.
And I don't think clans should be allowed to vote to prevent this from happening.
(However vote will be good to see what the community think about it - for possible changes in future)

Apprentice had the spot. They give it to masters.
on ownership point this is correct.

Apprentice players that reached that spot passed to Masters.
on players point this is correct that they don't have to start again from D.

The only issue is that sub clans are like team#2 of the principal clan, therefore most clan play alone while others have a security valve.

On the other hand to have 2 competitive teams for CL is no easy feat and they had to climb the rank and be recognized to have ppl that wanted to be Apprentice. more commitment, more possibility.

VIW officially support the APP-Master affair.

Just put the turtles back in A because we're cooler than both masters and apprentice.

Cowboy is in charge now, so it will be considered "for the good of the league" because it's too much work to do anything different.

Hopefully one day Masters, Apprentice, Lynx and 101st will all be in the same division. We'll call it "The Republicans"

Why everyone wants to play in DivA while all the strong teams are slowly gathering in DivD,just wondering...

I also think Turtles should be brought back to Division A and Masters should be forced to join Division D and become a training clan for apprentice!
