Am I the only one concerned about the number of Masters players in positions of power? There are three Masters on the CL Panel and one on the Ethics Panel. To top it all off Cowboy has now removed the Template Panel, so there's nobody to stand in his way. This is the start of a coup.

Id suggest making a new division, above A, where Masters should be and then another division above this one to put their egos there xd

Cowboy, we don't want to punish anybody. This is not the point. Don't take it personally. I'm not here to judge anyone but the ethic health of the CL. I am maybe too much procedural for a game, but I just think if we want serious competition this should be made properly. Maybe it's specific to french people (stupid french!) but I don't think so.

I'm totally fine with the idea this is ok for you as the rule is here, but we could redonsiderate this for the next time anyway. This rule is unfair and if we do not find a solution the last times, it is not too late. Of course their is a lot of conflict of interest, and this will be even more next time as more and more old clans will have benefited from that. I'm not jealous of anyone, this is not the point (I don't know if this is more egocentric or childish).

I was in the council panel before leaving Warzone (warlight), not everyone was comfortable with that. Since there was other stories but honestly, I don't really want to update myself with all drama of warzone... it turns already too bad for me.

2)I also agree,for once,with Xeno.
3)Vikingers didn't deserve a promotion this season coz except a few slots were we've performed well,we were pretty weak.
4)Who said that we,as Vikingers,as a DivD clan participant,want to avoid any battles against masters or other elite clans..Bring it on boyz and if underestimate us,u get the lose.
5)I'm not,personally,gonna get convinced that what's happening with masters is fair while what happened with FC or maybe even DD starting from the bottom Div is fair too coz of one rule that doesn't look so.."solid" right now and not coz I say so but coz a whole thread started really wild here,if u get my point of view...
6)Ending,I'd like to say to FC and DD that they earned my respect for starting from the bottom and rising up again.Well deserved promotions guys-as it looks like right now-.

Actually, I've got to agree with Xeno. So much power in one party is unacceptable. You will just vote in whatever you want against the will of the masses. No taxation without representation!

Whether the people in "positions of power" are Masters players or not, is irrelevant, unless of course you are implying that these people are dishonest and with no sense of integrity. To even suggest that they would favour us, or in any way influence Clan League to our advantage, is to undermine the hard work they put into making it happen. I am certain anything Cowboy has done has been to streamline the process of selecting templates, I don't think it's easy work (at the very least, it uses up his time).

I don't know if Xenophon was trolling, but seeing as others were taking it seriously I thought I would comment on it.

For those who think that there is a difference between all Masters joining Apprentice and all Apprentices joining Masters you should first take a step back and ask yourself if this is a professional league, or one where the primary purpose is the enjoyment of the participants. The leaders of the league in the past have come to the conclusion that the people make up the clan, rather than the other way around, which makes sense, since it is ultimately people whose interests we should be serving.

However, if you do believe the clan tag is the most important thing, consider the following story.

One blessed day, Cristiano Ronaldo, Paulo Dybala, and 10 other Juventus players are found to be guilty of cheating and banned from playing football for two years. People around the world are shocked and appalled at the horrible conduct of Juventus players and the Agnelli family who enabled their actions, so there is a global boycott on Fiats. The Agnellis go bankrupt, and rather than sell Juventus to someone else, allow the team to fold.

Time passes. Everyone in Italy is overjoyed to see this new world free of Juventus domination. Throughout Europe the response is more muted. They don't understand what the big deal is about this club that hasn't won the Champions League in 25 years.

Time passes and people stop caring about the Fiat boycott, and the Agnelli fortunes rebound. A few years later, SPAL is undergoing some difficulties. @Beren im not sure of it but if Agnelli family buy SPAL they can't named Juventus FC. They had to use other similar name and they should be relegated in Division D like in the past with Palermo and Napoles cases.

i have a question, let's take a clan named abbs that has 30 members playing in A in a specific season of cl and has only 10 members in its roster because the rest were busy for that season but wanted and were going to play if they had time.

now, let's take a clan named nasters that is not playing cl and wants to jump to A and manages (somehow, this is not important) to poach 6 of those 10 roster members from abbs.

so now, according to this famous rule that is allowing masters to jump to A/B and allowed outlaws to jump to A too, will nasters now play in A despite that fact that abbs has 24 members left that still want to play cl for abbs? what happens to abbs now, they can not play at all ever again or start in D? do you see the problem here? if the 3 active players in masters want to play cl, they are free to move to apps, just like pardon, xeno, farah, jeff, etc did.
