From an audit panel point of view, I think Norman's proposed solution is elegant enough.

Also, "trust" is a heavy word. Ideally, you don't want a system where you need to trust someone, you want checks and balances. I'm personally happy to see that both TBest and Norman took initial steps to allow for a verification.

how long do you think it will take to post the results? Sorry, I am eager to find out and start planning lineup.

There will be a CL stream tomorrow hosted by Farah [time is up to Farah]. They will, at the latest be ready for that stream.

{I know the stream hasn't been super well advertised (mentioned a few times in the passing in the announcement thread), but I hope it will still be a good event and maybe we can even get a free to join coin tournament at the end! Also, the Q's will be drawn at that stream.}

In other words ASAP :) It won't be immediately thru, since I have to do some other irl stuff first.

@Chris all the clans listed are the clans who he's received votes from, the votes itself just haven't been placed into the doc yet (or so I think); only 11 of the 14 clans are listed under A/B and only 6 under Q1-4. WG is listed, so I think the votes are received :p

I have just posted the scores to the doc, yes. I have also calculated the templates based on those scores. However, I haven't had any double checking done yet. It's too late to do before tomorrow for me, but since the bird already sung, let's consider the following as the preliminary results which may change if any errors are found :)

The formatting is also quite poor @the doc. Anyways, as I said, it's late so I am just going to throw screenshots @you.

Hopefully, all the screenshots are correct. Also, when i say no double checking i realy do mean zero. I was hoping to finish this today, but it will have to wait until tomorrow. I will be happy to write more details at that point.

I'm confused, can you type the templates out?

How did you total these?

For example, 3v3 Biomes gets 32 points and Rome gets 37 points. Lowest points should win, as 1 is most desired. So how did Rome get in there? On top of that, Biomes was rated #1 by 5 clans, Rome only 3. Rome was rated worst by 4 clans, Biomes 3.

What possible measure would get Rome in over Biomes?

I haven't looked at other head to head scores...I just don't understand the metrics for picking winning templates at all.


EDIT: 2v2 is odd as well. For example, Strat MME has 18 'more' points than China. It has 2 first place votes to 0. China has 6 last place votes to none for MME. How is China in over MME?

@ Emu and Chris - I believe those are the CL9 templates that Emu listed - the spreadsheet is a copy of the CL9 spreadsheet that is being updated, and I don't believe that tab has been updated yet.

I assume from the screenshots TBest posted that probably the ones highlighted in green are the preliminary winners until he checks things over, but I'd just say everyone chill for a few until it gets posted officially.

Well, look at the screen shots. He has Cookies 2v2 in there over MME despite it getting 7 less points. they have the same number of first place votes and cookies has 4 last place votes.

So you can see why I am confused

Yes, I do, it's because you don't understand the counting system. Everyone gets worked up about this every time there's a vote.

Uhm, I apparently also don't understand the system. The screenshots show strange stuff like "in last round" and 2/3 of a... whatever the unit may be.
