Any chance M'Hunters can have a different point of contact, one that comes across less... arrogant?
Is there a rule for dropping people if they keep being jerks? (FYI Most of M'Hunters I got no issue with)
Think there should be a different thread for "discussion" about clan leagues, in the future, while leaving a separate one for announcements, clans joining/leaving, etc.? Then certain ppl can mouth off elsewhere and not clutter this thread up, blocking out the actually important stuff.
Rogue was the communication last year. He should continue being their point of communication. AyanM, Fifi and Spartan are also CM's and very friendly, non-arrogant players. I think it would be best if one of them take over.
You are right. I just checked the votation document and Chris actually announced that wrong. Guiroma 16% SR is the template that got voted in so the template i provided is correct. 0% SR or 16% SR has very little difference though.
I asked Chris about this a few pages back, and he said the voting was for Guiroma 0% SR, despite the template being listed as 16% SR. Oh well, i'm going to assume it's 16% SR then.
Any chance M'Hunters can have a different point of contact, one that comes across less... arrogant? I didn't want to write anything more in this thread about this topic however some guys just can't stop attacking me after the mere proposal that Hydra shouldn't get promoted.
in the list of templates there was the choice of 0WR or 16SR. As far as i remember that 0WR was a mistake and should have been 0SR, but clans have voted on guiroma 16% which is same as in the RT ladder so i guess that should be the template we will use. But ill check it with the others. Nevertheless 0SR or 16SR doesn't really matter for gameplay. Very slim chance 6vs4 fails with 16% and only with big attacks it has some influence. So you can still pretty good practice the template
Only other change is the Final Earth is the 3x4 for picks. I had posted that before the panel changed their mind on the tie-breaking method. Sorry for that. 3 picks with 4 per start.
What Ollie posted is the final template list (minus that pick change on Final Earth). I will start a chat game with instructions to leaders soon.
As Ollie mentioned, this isn't easy with people in different parts of the world. Also, I have a ton going on right now (it is mother's day weekend and I have a wife and two kids), and re-doing all my landscape. Plus my work blocked warlight, so I am only checking forums via mobile phone now...which means I don't come here very often.
Some of those things have made me strongly consider finding someone else to run this league next season. Not having full access at work is a real issue for me since when I am at home, I am just doing stuff with my family.
I will not be point of contact for MH for various reasons. Norman is our organizer and I stand by him. This is not a personality contest. If Norman was stepping outside of social convention then it was merely to lobby our cause.
I don't see why it's in M'Hunters' interest to keep Hydra in Division D (or have them start in Division E). That's only going to slow down Clan League even further- the reason it has issues with the P/R format is the large influx of new clans that join each season- and keep putting clans in the wrong division.
In either scenario, M'Hunters are nearly certain to move to Division C after this season and are heavy favorites to win Division D. Of Hydra, M'Hunters, and CORP, all three should eventually get promoted from D unless certain clans suddenly become more competitive or they collapse. Moving Hydra up now just simplifies that process and prevents Division D from sucking during CL9. Moreover, it makes absolutely no sense for Hydra to start in Division E- that's just going to be moving backwards and slowing down the sorting of NWO, High Kings, and Hydra into their proper divisions.
