I haven't played much over the past year, and I haven't participated in that many CW games, but here's a hot take. All the talk about striking, making Fizzer's life miserable by spamming, etc: won't work. It actually shows quite a bit of disrespect. This game has always been free to play, you're not forced to play in CW, nor are you forced to pay anything if you don't wish to. There are no lootboxes or p2w content. In the end, it is Fizzer's game and he chooses what's on the roadmap and what's not.

Does that mean he should ignore the community when it is angry or is providing feedback? Of course not. It's just that Fizzer has (and this is speculation on my part) stopped being transparent in what his roadmap is. Most major updates have been hit with controversy, shouting people, angry mails and disappointed forum posts. Keep in mind that the community posting on these threads is always the minority, whether you like it or not. Fizzer talking to players who enjoy CW in its current state is confirmation that it is indeed a good, maybe slightly flawed system. Can it be better? Yes. Is there a large incentive for Fizzer to dedicate his time towards it? Maybe, maybe not.

I think Knyte's solution is the best. Find a bunch of players who represent a big chunk of the community and have them provide feedback in a useful way. "We think X is bad because of Y and would like to see Z amendment to this feature." We've seen suggestions like that on this thread already. It's just that they're buried below the clutter.

You're not getting anywhere with antagonizing Fizzer, and you shouldn't. If you want something to change, work constructively.

wrong thread guys. but if we're having this conversation, why not make your own forum post. we have the right to express ourselves on this forum... sorry if you find it offensive, but it's not. fizzer still does his AMA and keeps his roadmap visible so... anyway I do not mean to upset fizzer and he has responded kindly towards my forums before

This is pretty much what we are doing with thr modding discord, we have a clear set "council" and whenever we find a bug or have an idea we present it to fizzer in a big mail chat. On top of this it has resulted in him asking us questions (what program do you use to code?) and chatting in the discord. It was someone there that asked Fizzer if he could do an AMA for the last update,

Idk if that is the sole reason for him doing an AMA, but it sounded like he wasn't planning on doing one beforehand :)

I can also point to a number of modding bugs that have been fixed in the past few updates that I can contribute to the communication between us and fizzer...

So we are looking for 1 really strong player.

You can already request that. Just pay for extra cheese and provide special instructions when ordering in person. Have to go to a place that has human checkout, though. But fast food workers usually have great senses of humor and accept special requests as long as they're reasonable and you are nice.
