They have a very unique branched out clan system.

If you have completed enough low rank missions in LuFredd you are allowed to join 101st. You are considered a Chunin then.

Afterwards it becomes a novelty. If you are a rebel at heart, but still want to fight for the greater good you can move into Outlaws. This would fit with your Itachi Persona.

If you are able to play the ladder strategically you are allowed to join Lynx. I dont know how this would fit in with a Naruto theme since I forgot most of the plot.
