Lol, no, if someone literally died and you somehow got proof of this to Farah, I'm sure an excemption would be made. Comparably someone gets a severe case of covid, I'm sure Farah wouldn't be a cunt and say no to them as well.

This is nothing more than an act of goodwill to someone in an impossible spot. Im sure this generosity would apply to anyone else that may need it. (And no, that doesn't include if you have the cold, or are studying for exams)

Just wanted to say I support Farah's decision. Alex's situation is obviously extreme and the complete transparency is a good thing.

I get the slippery slope arguments, but in general in life not just warzone people need to be less extreme in their thinking. There's room for case by case thinking.

In this case:

A) An unusual and extreme situation.

B) Alex being completely upfront and asking for the exemption ahead of time.

C) No real competitive advantage.

The midseason registration window starts in 3 days, on October 5th. During this period of 10 days, you can add or remove people to/from your roster, to make room for new players or subs.

So, regarding the two 'issues' addressed earlier:

1) KKND did not have to take a turn on Alexclusive's account
Alexclusive made it back to Germany in time. No account details had to be shared.

2) The Discovery game versus Polish Eagles will not be remade
Polish Eagles declined the remake for the following two reasons:
- They only demand a remake after losing.
- The player subbed out was the better of the two

Note that these are not my words. I have debated the issue with the Clan League panel and they agree to not recreate the game.

To reiterate, I will not be making a new rule out of any of these rulings. We do our best to keep everything fair and by the rules, but the rules can never cover 100% of situations. Therefore, exceptions may be made when the rules are either not covering an issue or are interpreted to have a different intent for a specific situation.
