my clanmates are complaining that they have something like 10 team games simultaneously. From what I have heard from other clans, we aren't the only ones who don't like that.

If you expect one move per day, then with 12 minutes per move this translates to playing CL 2 hours each day. I don't know whether the 12 minutes here are on the higher or on the lower end. However, even if you don't need to think 12 minutes about the turn then playing multiday team games in various constellations isn't something which you set up on an assembly line.

I understand that guys in school or university might not see the issue here.

12 min/day with one turn a day doesn't sound like a real situation. The average move time in teamgames are usually over 4 days each turn. And 12 min to make moves is a lot too in my book. Moreover nobody is forced to play 3 slots of team tournaments.

If you take 12 minutes per turn and move everyday, you will never get to the point where you have 10 games at the same time either

The trade-off for a faster Clan League is the fact you are allowed to make multiple substitutions with the knowledge of the schedule.

Therefore with good management, if a player is racking up a game count you can simply sub him out to reduce game pressure.

To your case, assuming your clan is having high difficulty then perhaps he should've been subbed out at around the 6 7 8 9 game count cause I doubt this came out of the blue.

I've received multiple 'complaints' about this. While the above arguments against your point are valid, it's still a situation I'd like to avoid. A faster Clan League meaning less boots starts holding less truth when its players are overwhelmed with games. There has been a fair amount of discussion in the Clan League Discord and we're always looking for feedback. To reinforce that, we'll be releasing an official poll soon, asking the players for feedback; the poll has a section dedicated to the schedule and it's pro's and cons.

Isn't every strategic player going to simply say "Give us more time" because that's the natural instinct. I doubt most poll takers would actually consider the question in the context of what's best for the league?

However it'd be fun if you made all the games at once and made a 100 day bank timer or a subsequent setting and see what happens for a experiment. That'd be a creative solution.

It's a poll, not a vote. I suspect that a lot of players will indeed say the schedule is too condensed. That doesn't necessarily imply we're changing the schedule :)

I enjoy the schedule, having more then 2 cl game when your mostlikley going to be in more then 1 section... is fine. I perfer faster pace and with the leagues getting longer its going to get more boring

I still dont get why a faster CL is good for the league. Especially not if the price you have to pay is a more stacked schedule. Is it really better for the league if players are more stressed and as outcome dont want to play CL anymore?

I think the poll is good. The players that are bored by too less games are writing here. The players that are stressed by the workload in games dont care about the forums.

If you are only bored noone prohibts you to join a ladder or some other events.

having more then 1 game other then cl is not our problem its a u problem, I'm also not saying to condense it either. if uve noticed its also a round robin so technically once you finish 1 game u start the next. being able to speed up cl makes it alot more fun but that also means players probably won't play at there best. its better if the schedule doesn't change just becuase people are saying they have more then 10 games cuz that's on them for stalling/avoiding the game, if your online make your move. if it takes 30min to make it then so be it. but don't leave the game

Well, its clan league, so maybe involve more people into it rather than just 3 slotting your best players. Also I doubt any D C B clan is actually complaining, you guys forget that most of CL is actually made of non-A clans, but you've made that small social bubble of div A which is like 5-10% of actual CL players and listen to them. New-comers to CL would need to wait what like 9-10 months to play? That's just ridicolous.

It's a round robin, but its not limited to only 1 game at once. The games are started on a schedule, so theoretically it would be possible to be playing 7 games at once time 3 slots = 21 CL games.
