Also something nobody has mentioned about this issue is that there's already built-in failsafe, you have TWO contacts per clan. I mean was the one in SNinja responsible about line-ups and rosters and i was busy and not much around for a while (before and around the deadline) and would have likely forgotten the whole thing actually, but then one day rak just tells me that he has sent in our roster & line-up (latest of my drafts he could find, which thankfully was the version i had finalised bit earlier already) incase i had forgotten it (and told me to check the cl spreadsheet that it was the right one). ^^ So really if you're complaining about bad communication, you should look the communication in your own clan, between primary and secondary contacts, if both of them have access of the relevant information then if the primary contact forgets/is busy/loses internet connection/dies/gets abducted by aliens then you should have secondary contact who can at least sent what you have ready so far (and if it's not finalised you always can use subs to fix at least some of it).

And yeah i know my example story might sound like completely made-up fantasy (since it has rak doing something actually useful) but just take it as an example how the system should work :)

Like they were any other clan. We already have WG and SNinja playing in A; if there is objective proof of brother/sister clans colluding by surrendering games against each other or something like that, I will be swinging the banhammer around violently.

At the very least Farah, you'd have to delegate 101st/Lynx games to play their games against each other first. Then allow it random for the last 5 or so rounds.

You should work for an umbrella company, that's ridiculous to put those as the same. Only an umbrella would splurt that out and justify two completely different things and judge them under the same ruling. You can't make that rule and not be aware of the history of the clans. Then hide away under a veil of ignorance of a one-line comment off a decision you never checked the information for, as if you're right smugly (Smug comment was for you Benjamin x).

In a nutshell here's WG/SNinja, two completely seperate entities, where WG was made years ago before SNinja became a clan. SNinja in its early days was lead by Almosttricky who left SNinja to join a superior WG who were doing well. Then WG declined and SNinja wasn't its most active self so it was suggested at one time to join up, it didn't work at all. Almosttricky then left WG as soon as SNinja joined A and then the fairytale victory happened. Any collaboration was simply a way of keeping 2 inactive clans (at the time) some bloodline, think of it as two conjoined twins, where one couldn't live without the other for a short period of time. That's entirely different to what 101st/Lynx is.

Somehow as an umbrella, you managed to put that information as the same as 101st/Lynx who are the one entity, which has a distinct model of players working from 101st to being a member of Lynx. I'm not even going to bother explaining this to you as you were a member of 101st/Lynx so you know first-hand! Your only justification is by being an umbrella, simply pretending WG/Sninja are something in your imagination when in reality they're as far apart as you bothering to educate yourself on basic clan history.

If you want to run this league as a umbrella, totally up to you. But please come up with a better rationale for a decision that has a threat to the integrity of the league. If you make silly reasons up based on wrong information, I'm going to be the rain telling you are wrong and ruin your day.

What a joke, WG at that time was at the nadir of its existence. They would be unable to even field a line-up without almosttricky in CL 9, let alone finishing one spot above SNinja (whose leader played for WG) that season... he was also their MVP that season alongside smileyleg who also just joined that season. That's how superior WG was.

Mate, not what I was trying to imply. Everyone knows the relation between SNinja and WG is different from the Lynx and 101st one. The question is, where does one draw the line? That's what I was trying to imply, but I can see the confusion from my statement. In any case, I said I would swing the banhammer around violently if there was any form of collusion. That goes for SNinja/WG, Lynx/101st and any other clan in any other division. Given that most clans take some pride of competing in division A, I doubt we'll see any collusion, as both colluding clans will be banned.

Also, I'm not an umbrella. I'm a towel.

Do they just start at random moments of the day? Or do you try to start all of the tournaments at around the same time?

I try to start them at noon CET, but I didn't have access to my pc until about 20 minutes ago, so this one started later.

Any restrictions on 101st/Lynx would be illegitimate, and unfounded on paranoid suspicion.

It would defy precedent, open an impossible can of worms, and destroy community goodwill.

If you went fishing in a canal you would get better ideas than this.

@Farah That's why I say at the very least delegate the games of 101st and Lynx as the very first round.

We haven't done that for any brother/sister clan ever; it's rather unprecedented. It's not going to happen.

My goodness, this is shaping up to be a great CL!
First the Masters/Apps controversy, then Farah seizes power in a dictatorship, then half the expected clans don't show up resulting in some unexpected promotions, other clans show up a little late and get grumpy at the penalties, now the whole "brother clans in one division" is being brought up without even needing to be...
Indeed, things are looking spicy!
