Not sure if there is a trend in the following dataset:

Statisticians - 10 points
Jackie Treehorn (including 2v2 with JuOx) - 10 points (3-0 record)
Everyone else - 0 points (0-7 record)

Statisticians starting every season of Clan League in last place in their division only to climb later = We just need to wait until Jackie finishes his games?

Apologies to all for the extended period since my last update. I could blame it on being busy with real life, but, in all honesty, I had the time and simply have procrastinated until now. As a result of my negligence, there are too many games that have finished since my last update, so I will not be reviewing them individually. Instead, I will only be providing some general commentary on the standings.

• M'Hunters (8-0) continues to soar high, with a now 13-1 record and an astromical 94% points contested. DrApe continues to hold 100% of MH's losses, marring their otherwise impeccable record. It is interesting to observe that, instead of removing such a poor performer from its roster, the clan has recently substituted him into a third slot. Perhaps this type of innovative strategy is what has brought MH its great start to CL12, and other clans may do well to take note.
  
• Fifth Column Confederation (5-1) has climbed all the way to second place (5th in last update) from a quite subpar start to this season of clan league. However, there is quite a significant gap before they have any hope of achieving frontrunner status. Those active in the discord server might have noticed the dying down of claims of FCC winning both promotion slots, a quip that was frequently trumpeted before the season started. One could say that they have lost their confidence and accepted their status as a contender for second place.
  
• HAWKS (5-5) maintains an even record, but the wins in the team games have bumped their points contested rate to exactly 50%. Currently at a net -4 score against FCC, they will need to improve their performance in these crucial games in order to have any hope of taking the second promotion slot. Their 2-0 record against {101st} is what puts them in third for now.
  
• {101st} (3-5) has fallen from the top of the leaderboard to fourth place. O, how the might have fallen! First [V.I.W], and now {101st}. There seems to be a curse on the leader of the division, and we shall see if MH can buck this trend. Currently at +6 against FCC, {101st}'s relatively low game count means that a short win streak could bring them within striking distance of taking second.
  
• CORP (3-7) has suffered the most defeats since the last update, dropping from 75% points contested to under 40%. Their performance in the critical team games is quite lacking, something that must be amended to avoid relegation.
  
• Statisticians (3-5), originally predicted to place second in the rankings, have little to show after completing 8 more games. There are some (some = Cowboy) that still say that a strong show by Math Wolf and Jackie Treehorn could be enough to carry the clan to promotion, but Math Wolf's loss to Glass from [V.I.W] on Landria shatters that illusion. They will need to give a strong performance just to avoid relegation. It should, however, be noted that they have only 10 games played so far, so the volatility of their ranking is still high. A string of wins could be enough to launch them into the brawl for silver.
  
• [V.I.W] Very Important Weirdos (2-5) is solidly last place. They have the most games completed with the lowest winrate, points contested, and second lowest total points. A positive net score against Statisticians means that they are at least dealing damage to their direct competitor, but they will need to outrun two to avoid the bear that is relegation. It is difficult to imagine this clan ending up anywhere in the top half of the leaderboard.

Looking over some of FCCs players the difference between them and M'Hunters seems to be that all of M'Hunters players are homebrewed. So in other words they have filled up their clan with superstars from elsewhere while we have actually trained our guys in order to perform.

Although HAWKS may be in 3rd now, if FCC or MH thinks they are too far ahead to be caught... ya' know, they may not play as hard and HAWKS may catch up (which ofc they will)

Ah, I thought I vaguely remembered some of those guys being part of other clans like TJC for Irise. Perhaps I was wrong.

Indirectly the clan league also measures how well a clan is equipped to "produce" strong players. If now (for the sake of the argument) the Masters players all join Apprentice then the success of the Apprentice clan stops being an indicator about how well that clan is equipped in order to train players to become great.

As for M'Hunters we could poach MoD, Rufus and the likes and then let them play for us. This would probably get better results than we currently have and in the meantime we could just completely shut down our strategic community.

Yeah, but clans fed by players of former clans aren't very common.

For instance, if you look at B:

In the case of 101st's, all players joined after their clans dissolved (Acme, Illuminati, Hydra). CORP is the same with TJC, with the exception of KKND who has hopped around a bit. Xeno joined FCC after Masters decided not to play.
MH's includes a former member who left them came back when their clan dissolved, a player formerly of NWO, now gone, and a Guy who was in GG, but never did anything there.

No, if Xenophon has built up a strategic community in FCC then I was wrong. I was aiming at some elitist clans gobbling up the best players from other clans and thus wanted to introduce a metric in order to point out that just because they succeed heavily in the clan league doesn't mean that they offer very much to their members.

Your 0/18 means that all of your 18 guys on the roster are apparently true HAWKS. If you had added Phakh Gokhn to your roster your numbers would be 1/19.

We also have players on the roster who have a past in other clans before. Though they are in the clan they like to be in. And that is what counts imo
