Personally, I don't like talking on stream. But If anyone wants to stream, I will certently do my best to be around in chat.

aw tbest you must make a guest appearance ! you are the face of clan league now ;)

just get tacky to host but put tbest in the vc and have him muted. Then you can claim he's announcing it when it's just you :P

Back to Tournaments? When I made the "Clan League Discussion Forum" discord server, I got contacted by Fizzer and he assured me that there would be support given to ensure the CLOT wouldn't collapse.

I really recommend waiting more time to fully implement an CLOT rather than going for this method of making games, because it's a step backwards for the league in general mixed with bans on major A clans player's is a very toxic combo for the integrity of the league.

id rather not host since internet is only good certain time of days, and my computer is almost 4 years old>.<… but I think a stream would be rly cool since warlight/clanleague has big history of streams

Wait! is there no "CL improvements thread"? Is there any change/additions in rules?

Tournaments aren't bad persay, but they do make subbing a huge issue. Keep that in mind when forming up your rules.

Unfortunately I don't have the source code of the CL 10 clot, nor am I willing to wait any longer for it. I think (almost) everyone would want some clan integration from Fizzer, however I am not aware of any development towards that end at this time. (Speculation, but if I was Fizzer, adding clans to mobile app is the first step for example). Taking more time to wait for something that I don't have much influence in is very risky and not something I can do forever.

Rules will come with the spreadsheet that I hope to get out later this week. Rules will be there, and there are likely to be some changes which includes how subbing should be handled. In general the goal is to minimize changes to rules

Yeah, you can't count on Fizzer adopting anything soon. I think like you said there are some things that he'd need to have in place before adopting the CLOT, and THOSE items probably aren't on his immediate roadmap as he likes to say. I'm sure he's more focused on the clients right now than anything clan related.

Just a friendly reminder that this Clan League is pronounced in English as "Cleleven".

Hey, send a message to Deadman, you can get the source code after he cleans it up. Deadman was not even aware you wanted the source code.

Are we going to maintain the "minimum level to play the template" preresiquite assuming we don't go back to the CLOT?

@Aura, In the draft of CL 11 rules I have it written as :

"If a player is assigned to a template, he/she must be able to create a game on that template(i.e, unlock all features of that template). This is a restriction of using CLOTs and will only be enforced if CL is using automation. "

In case of WZ tournaments, then yeah that rule is not relevant. Since automation is not ruled out fully (thru, most likely ruled out), nor templates decided the effects for CL 11 is not set in stone yet.
