I am just going to say it. The WarLight 2 part of the logo doesn't fit with the other logo. Like, WL 2 is red and "flat".

Not sure how to do it and make it look good. But I most certently think having a WarLight 2 on it is a good thing!

Found many super cool new features on unity mobile in the meantime! The only thing i'd like to add to my improvement needed list is the difference between team/public chat. At least for me it's not clear enough.

nice stuff thanks Dan.

@Fizzer I got this weird bug where I couldn't make my picks. It was a RT game and I was taking my picks about 5 minutes late cause I needed to convince teammates to change orders. Everything else was working but for some reason warlight wouldn't let me pick. I was using the standalone version, had to use the browser to beable to make picks and then everything was fine.

also can you think about reintroducing the analyse attack button, its nice to know how many armies I will lose with an attack, also for banking time games I can't see the amount of banked time my teammates and opponents have like with the flash client, I tried looking for the setting but can't find it.

If you hover over the boot time you should see the banked times of all players.

I've never heard of this. Can you clarify on what happened when you tried to pick? Were you getting an error message? Could you pick but not commit? Did clicking on the territories not add the stars? Did clicking on the territories do anything at all? Can you reproduce the problem? If so, can you send me a screenshot?

Or maybe he just switched from the add stars to the info tool and that's why he can't pick territories. That would be a silly mistake, but I have to mention that.

The mock up looks good, except that dark green text for how recently something has been commented on e.g. for blog posts, notable threads, etc. is a bad idea. It's difficult to read... there needs to be more contrast between the texts' background-color and the texts' color.
Instead of "Play Now", why don't you have "Play"? It's shorter...
Make sure that it looks good on smartphones and tablets as well as devices with large screen sizes!

Those have large screen resolutions.

42% of smartphones in America have 1080P or 1440P resolutions.

That % is increasing, most modern smartphones are at least 1080P.

Please no silly drop-down to switch between tabs. That means a extra click/tap every time. Instead just have tabs (the FB app for example does this well. Where you can scroll horizontally through the tabs at the top, if the tabs are longer then your (phone) screen)

Is that 'Help' drop-down needed? What is in it?

{Also, is the Community drop-down to switch between say Community and Settings and Singelplayer etc? Or is it to go to different community things? Like Forum, Mail etc. }

Also "Play alone" in the subtexts sounds kinda odd. Maybe it's better to say "Play the AI, your friends or both!"

Well if you're going to a sub-item that's under the same major-tab you're on, then yes it's an extra click. But if you're going to a sub-tab that's under another major tab, then it's the same number of clicks.

I've never seen a major website that pulls off a horizontal scrolling list of tabs. That may work for apps, but this is the website.

The wiki, faq, change log, and about page. It's possible this stuff could be moved elsewhere. The about page is already linked from the footer. The FAQ needs to be somewhere pretty prominent though, as it helps reduce emails to me about frequently asked questions like "How do I make a map". It's also nice for the wiki to be easily accessible.

Community is similar to the community tab that exists now -- forum, ladders, tournaments, etc.

If you're in flash mode, there will be a single-player and multi-player tabs like there are now. But in Unity mode those aren't necessary, and you'll just have the Play button.

My thinking was that on the website that horizontal scrolling wouldn't exists, since the screen is wider? So you could fit all tabs in (like today). But on a phone you could do a horizontal scroll

Will push-notifications be customisable in the future?

Like i don't want "turn advanced in game xyz" for realtime-games
and "it's still your turn in game xyz" is kinda annoying me
and i'd like to choose the time for "you're going to get booted soon in game xyz" myself instead of fixed 4h
and if possible: if i'm playing on my pc and have the game open, don't give me notifications that turn advanced on my phone aswell (as an option, players like options. halfway expecting some people using this as a feature)

As some people have mentioned, clicking on the drop down lists can be a waste of a click. Would it be a good idea for the drop down menses to have an onclick event and a mouseenter/mouseout or hover event that shows or hides the drop down menus?

+1 to Timinator's suggestions. I would appreciate customizability in notifications. Would be even cooler if we had more fine-grained control (being able to set notifications for a certain important game or type of game- like I'd want to be reminded a little bit earlier in ladder games, for example).
