CORP seems to not be doing so hot outside BigMeck and mm. Looks like it's slowing down and settling into 3rd, maybe 4th behind MH, Illuminati, and Lu Fredd.

this is anybodies game right now. There are still a few possible situations in which M Hunters won't win.

1. A huge plague that only kills M Hunters and other arrogant people takes hold and devastates our real lives.

2. The Rapture

3. All MH CL8 participates are killed in a plan crash.

4. Aliens.

5. Robots take over the world.

See? There are plenty of PERFECTLY likely scenarios in which M Hunters won't be placed first.

also, if other clans are gonna hype people for various reasons, I am gonna say that the Glorious Koala may be almost solely responsible for any Clan Wins we have in the Europe 3v3 games, certianly in 4x5 lol

Now, if only we could get some RoR team games in here... ^_^

Hahaha!! I'll admit M'Hunters seem untouchable right now.

I would have to disagree Knyte, and here's why. Several of the members in CORP have very busy lives, and people like me can't play from a mobile phone, so I take awhile to do my turn. If you notice that we have completed less games than almost everyone else. I have only finished 1 game, and I think Ox and I quickly learned and have adapted several new strategies. I'm not saying we will dominate from now on, but I'd be disappointed with anything less than 3rd. I am actually not quite satisfied with the 1v1 in CORP. Not to say we should have gone undefeated or anything, but we have so many strong 1v1 players.

In other words overall I think we have 1 multi-player loss, maybe 2. It's hard to say where we stand. Even without a win, it's too early, because of so few completed games. And let's not forget Derkie did well for the most part.

I don't expect CORP to fall to 4th but we're talking about a rather competitive pool here. Most of the clans here shouldn't be in D and I think CORP's standing (as far as max points go) is only going to get worse from here on out.

M'Hunters as first for sure. I don't think CORP's 3v3 teams (or 2v2 teams) are super-solid- honestly it all came down to 1v1 and CORP didn't perform that well outside mm and BigMeck.

A small update:



First off I don't count Max Points as a valid ranking system, because Illuminati is ranked first despite being fourth in overall points...

Division D1 has the weakest win rate for a first place clan (M'Hunters) of 65%. The next lowest of clan win rate is 78.57% by VS in Division D2 with all other divisions having high 70% to high 80% win rates.

As well we have the strongest last place clan (Hawks) with a win rate of %20.

Lastly, all other divisions have some separation between the clan's win rates of %10-20 across the top four clans. Here it is a pile up between Illuminati, CORP, Dutch Lu Fredd, M'Hunters with win rates between 60.53-66.67.

That is my long-winded way of saying I agree how competitive this division is.

The long and short, is that while M'Hunters leads and it looks like they will win this division, no one clan is going to decisively win based on the current trends.

P.S. I will end of with an complaint about the plans for next season. The plan is to rank all non-promoted clans from Division D1 and D2, to be distributed into Divison D and E next season. That is complete bull, D2 is littered with abandoned games, players not joining tournaments and boots. Our division may suffer for being competitive and everyone signing up?

I actually do agree with that. Illuminati, Lu Fredd, or CORP could probably destroy D2 with a hand tied behind their back.

^^ He is refering to this season. I must admit CORP has really pulled up its socks. I feel the name CORP gives a bad account of their abilities as a strategic clan. Illuminati has also changed a lot.

Yeah, that's true. CORP has a pretty strong strategic pool... but then again, our strongest side is probably 1v1.

Well, it was obvious it will be a tough one... M'Hunters not only have some very good players, but also are a big clan in general, besides they probably practiced their team games as well, Illuminati is known as THE 1v1 training clan (though they didn't do so well in 1v1's, but are now doing decently in team games it would seem) and Lu Fredd is pretty small, but has many strong players as well...

All of these are at least quarter-elite clans, if not more.

Honestly, I think CORP should be satisfied with a finish in the top 4. I mean, these people's predicted ratings at the start were kinda underestimating CORP (Beren placing it at 2nd last, Master Turtle even placing it at the last place). So yeah, I guess CORP surprised many people.


And what Ox meant as "arrogance" was probably that you assumed you'll get 1st place from the start and laughed off everyone saying they have a chance too (or at least that's like it looked like ^^)

Illuminati has changed a lot recently. I just think people misunderstood which players in our clan could play in Clan League for Illuminati. A lot of players have been removed from the clan in the past few months as well so they way players thought Illuminati plays doesn't line-up up with the reality of the current clan.

As well, I wish that our former clan leader didn't leave right before needing to submit line-ups. I tried my best for our current line-up and already have changes in mind for next season.

I wish the clan had more then 2 weeks to practice for clan league. No one had much time to play more then a few practices games.

Some players asked me for advice, that's it. Our clan isn't centered around the clan league it was just an idea from Rogue Nikolai Krogius for us to participate and he gathered a couple of players willing to join. Everybody who wanted to play is playing now. As for myself I understand that Rogue wanted some fun in the clan league however we have already won the Norman awards so there is nothing for us to prove any longer. Some players like kroete and fifi never have played the Guiroma / turkey map before.

Yeah, Illuminati's sign-up was a little chaotic, with a last-minute PoC change, and a completely new sight to the lineup. Agreed with GE on the point that I really hope something is done, with the creation of the D and E leagues for CL8, because this Division is far more competitive than D2, yet the worse performing clans here will be lumped with the worse performing clans there. I mean, VS are semi-elite, and AWF and Jugs are not performing badly, but the chaos involved with Olympus, Poon Squad, Yin-Yang, and Darklords (I doubt the last of which will even compete in CL8; maybe not even Poons if they continue to piss off Chris) is a bit of a pain, to see how clans there have it easy. AWF would be in the middle of this pile up, while there they have an easy 2nd place.

I officially make the Ben awards - Best Clan. AWF wins. We are now officially the best clan on warlight.
