Vin we understand you don't have a life to tend to but other people do. You can't just expect people to be on WL every second of the day and you really can't expect all 8 people to be able to play during that same day.
furthermore they contradict their own principles on one hand they want games to end quickly so they have low boot timing and on the other hand they're not willing to surrender when they realize they've lost the game and add few more days to the now pointless game
they don't play like a team,they just play their own way of group 1v1 so they can chat while playing and call themselves as a team in actual team games with templates that make you think i sometimes had conversations lasting an hour or 2 just for the picking stage

This thread is funny. I haven't read it all, but why don't you guys find some middle ground? Give Poon Squad their light fog, single territory, and 1-army neutrals, but use a 2 day boot. Or enable bank.
I rarely surrender but that's just a personal principle. Also in team games you can still make a huge difference if you're about to die. I respect the hell out of any player who fights to the end no matter what.
Shorter turns are a different animal. With 3 day turns, not only does the game take months to finish, you're also trying to make moves when the last turn is so far in the past that you probably don't even remember what's going on in that game.
