Wensink has won Player of the Year since 2014. When does the voting start for 2023?

Only the worst award could be something for Wensink; one of the most arrogant players with his lies about Warzone player of the year

@LF
How would "Best Prediction Award" work?

@JK
Best WZ bug - how would this work? People nominate a specific bug, then vote on it? Or some of us decide what bugs are worth voting on, then people vote on it? Then we tip the hat to Fizz regardless of the verdict?

Best streamer - this could work; who are the nominees? Is Fizz in this? If so, he's gonna win b/c most people (>90%) likely only know the AMA stream

Best "Free cache thread!" spammer - how about we just say thank you for your ongoing free cache thread spam efforts, keep up the good work

Best account name - interesting
Best tagline - interesting

Best match in terms of the in-game chat - LMAO, so most interesting chat?

I'd advise not to overdo it with too many categories - you'll get less votes if the form is too long (speaking from experience). Also GC personalities rarely read the forums, so I doubt you'd get heaps of nominations or votes for that category

Yes

People nominate a bunch of bugs they found/used/know about, and then we vote on a selection of those bugs.

Some notable bugs that come to mind would be the 800% rare hospital boost artifact* and more recently attacking from gifted territories.

@LND the nomination for best GC chatter is pretty easy, cause there are only 20 people that use global chat.

I do agree on not going overboard with the categories tho, less is usually more.

The upside of splitting things, is that more people get a chance to win.

If you use less categories, then you give Lionhearth the mapmaker award, Dutchman the modmaker award, etc.
By splitting it up, you give other people that also did really cool things a chance to win as well.

I'll likely split it into 2 voting sets. The traditional awards, and then the new cycle of awards. So people can stick to the 1st set, keep it easy & short, or venture into the new categories.

Since there's no video, it won't be a big deal to add new categories, ie: it's not going to add 3-5 minutes to an already long sequence.

I think there two kind of bugs:
- community public bugs/features, which everybody knows or which made public on the forums. For example the CW tie-breaker or the mystery map sort. Voting here is totally good.
- private/security bugs, which could be sent to Fizzer. Those can be evaluated by how much coins Fizzer rewarded as a bug bounty :)
