Background and information

Myth Busters is a clan dedicated to clan war. Founded by Flexus and co., our main objective is to spice up clan war. It is boring to watch the same team win over, and over, and we decided to change that. In the spirit of competition, a community of the best warzone has to offer has been culminated. Spearheaded by players like Tacky Flexus, Forsaken, and others, it is truly a masterclass! We include side projects like a Rise of Rome discord channel, game reviews, and personal one-on-one training games. We are friendly and do not tolerate toxic and immature behavior.

We are searching for new talent, we have about 7-ish empty roster slots. We also need to replace retirees constantly, so always feel free to mail me or comment on the thread if you are interested! We will not be accepting everybody, but we will select quite a few. 🙂

Alts are welcome, but you may not double account in clan war. This means if you play clan war on your alt, you cannot play on your other accounts.

They have rather high skill recruitment prerequisites, though.

Thumbs up ... it's good to have some healthy competition.

But I'd have to disagree that it's boring for the same clan to win each season. (;

Good luck with the competition!

A healthy competition between MB and MH is what really helps to end sooner those unreasonably excessively long CW seasons. The whole community benefits from it!

Would be nice to have some exellent people joining us.
We cant really play to win with 33/40 against 40/40 but if we had a full team I always believe the skill should beat MH even though they have a really good setup with high participation and smart play stacking two templates where they will win the most.

What I see is that our small community is fun to be a part of.
I get to know new nice people who happen to be really good in Warlightgames which overall is a good combination.

Hope to see some familiar nicknames approaching us in the near future.
If not for this season then maybe the next :)

clan war season is about halfway over! unfortunately, we have filled up on 40 players, but we are expecting retirees. please continue to apply, and we will stay in contact with you and keep you up-to-date. come compete :)


edit: also a little cheat-cheat, if you have low level accounts you will get easier games because the high level accounts absorb the heaviest hitters. so if you are nervous about performance, dw, there are others to take the bullet for you :p

It's not level. It's account ID (profile ID minus first and last 2 digits, so for example, mine is 221240 when my profile is https://www.warzone.com/Profile?p=3022124041). CW matchmaking sorts clans by CW rating (descending),, then sorts players by account ID (ascending), then matchmakes top-to-bottom while avoiding same-clan matchups.

You can easily confirm this by looking at a recent slot where a lot of members from the same clan signed up for the same template and then seeing who got the easier opponents (lower-rated clans).
