First, before you bite, this is purely an idea, and it's not trying to take power from current CL governing bodies.
As I see it, this would be made up of one representative from each clan in CL (clan manager or otherwise) and would basically discuss any issues regarding CL, and then would vote on it. The results of these deliberations would be made available to the CL governing bodies for their use in making decisions. Think of it as the conscience of CL - has no real power, but can tell you if you're perhaps not doing things right.
I don't know, just an idea I had. Let me know your thoughts (politely and respectfully please!) and any alterations to the idea if you think any are necessary.

Nothing would ever get done. Even with a panel of 5 agreeing on everything has not been easy.

We already have something like that in place. Sometimes we get together on ground breaking changes and do representative voting by clans. But every time that happens its a nightmare.

Also, I know things aren't likely to get done, however I was thinking a simple vote with a time limit on it would at least do something. But yeah, keep letting me know if you think it is at all useful - I think that would be the key point: would it achieve anything? I think some of you are saying no already, anyone else?

I proposed something like this; Clan leaders, the representatives of participating players, votes on decisions and was followed on some matters, ignored on other matters like CL panel. Strangely many decisions are made by few loud players in few clans and then they call it as the community's voice. Personally vote with deadline is the best way to go, but cheaters' circles won't agree to it because they won't be powerful.

Yes, it's because of the power and because of the headache running a mess of a clan league where everyone is trying to get their hands in the pot.

Why don't you just play a CL season before you suggest stuff? Latly I read a ton of stuff about CL by people who are not even really involved.

Don't know the format, the rules etc., but comment on stuff with a strong opinion. Just participate and then suggest adjustments. It is not like such stuff isn't taken into consideration, but suggesting stuff while knowing little to nothing won't help anyone
