I would only want 1 slot.

That is not an option this season. Every player that signs up must be willing to play 2 slots if their club needs them to. However, I think most players(except the top tiers) would end up playing only 1 slot.

I meant the expectation is that everyone has the time and energy to play two tournaments if they are asked to. But you're right in that it is up to the manager and all their players to decide how many games they want to play.

I assume he's talking about how last season you could buy players for half price if they only played one tournament. Obviously a manager can't force a player to play more than they're willing.

i just don't know why would you expect such commitment?
if i prefer to play only half games (or only 1v1, team game, only French brawl or anything else) what's the problem with expressing it prior to auction. Managers know what they are buying and put their offers according to it. What's wrong with it?

No problem with it. But someone who is willing to play only 1 tournament is usually not as active on Warlight as someone who is willing to play 2 :p

Since we will end up with more players than available slots(happened last time too), getting the more active player is good for the league.

Just one remark - there will be maximum of 6 teams per league, so it would be benefitial for all if all games start in the same time (thus enforcing shorter season). I know that it is burden if players already have great amount of open games, but, hey, this should be worth of it.

So, is there any link between those two seasons or it is going to be started from scratch?

Concepts carry over. But it will start from scratch in terms of clubs, managers etc
