Vehzehrer grabs a boot win to jump Miyagi to 2-3, whilst Miyagi falls to 1-3; could be an important victory in a race to avoid last place. Bjarke avoids the wooden spoon with victory in his final game, moving to 1-5. He could avoid last place too, with JV on 1-3. In the basement battle on Treasure Map, Chris grabs a crucial victory to move to 1-5, condemning Reza (0-5) to last.

In the game I missed last time, Turtles moved back to 1-1, dropping WG to 0-2.

Here's my interpretation of what's happening with the clan league standings at this moment.

In the past, or at least for the past few Clan Leagues, Apex has really shown a dominance in the team (2v2 and 3v3) portions while being able to maintain a decent record in the 1v1s. There is one clan who excels in 1v1, which was GG last in CL7. However, the makeup of Clan League 8 is different. We have Turtles and GG as two clans who excel at 1v1s.

This means that there are fewer points for other clans. Similarly, Lynx does better at team games. This means that Apex will have to work that much harder to get the points they need to avoid relegation.

In essence, this is what makes the clan league (in my opinion) exciting. As new clans come in and others go down, there is a new distribution of expected points that has the possibility to change the dynamic of the table heavily.
