My balance is currently at 143 coins... With 43 coming from this tournament: https://www.warlight.net/MultiPlayer/Tournament?ID=18444I still have a long way to go.

Lol, not spare Zero, sorry. Tell you what though, only since 2016 is the year of the dragon... I'm going Vegas in a months time; give me a couple of lucky numbers for roulette and I'll bet $5 on each. If it wins I'll gladly buy you Smokey Black and accept your tutelage :)
Failing that I could always use a teacher regardless but sadly I don't pay them so good... actually I don't pay anything, but I wouldn't say no if you feel like teaching me anyway haha.

Would be cool to see how people got the record at each level, I don't see how it's possible for any of them I've tried.

I just won every attack in every direction on Take the Castle and it was 22 turns. Yet somebody did it in 21 turns. That's not even possible.

Must be some random luck with the AI's doing a baracade or killing each other or something, because it doesn't make sense that you could do it in fewer turns than it takes you to simply capture every territory as fast as possible.

Some of those were my favorite colors. Smokey Black looks cool too.
I think I am going to try the single player levels sometime.

Hi, I liked the challenge to do each level in record number of turns. I wanted to test something though; when I played the second level called "Now you see me..." the AIs behaved differently when I tried the level again with identical orders. The first time I won but the second time the AI did something different such that I took longer to win. I have since tried approximately 20 times after that to commit the exact same orders and win in 9 turns but I just can't replicate the win. Is this just luck then if the AI randomness will work in your favour? This level had two AIs so I've assumed I'd need both of their randomness to align with the initial 9 turn win I managed.
I still haven't closed the game window of my win... could I share it if someone wants to try the same orders? Somehow I likely could, but I don't see what difference it makes unless for some reason you can only win in record turns once, which I highly doubt is the case. Randomness makes it a little unfair when trying to match the record number of turns in future levels and puts me off wanting to try if when it comes down to it I could be extremely unlucky and never manage it.

Hi everyone !
I've tried a few of the single player levels: they're fun and quite doable for the first few, with difficulty slowly rising, but nothing as hard as the last 3 challenge levels of now. I liked the "1 army must stand guard = off" rule for single player levels as it allows for conquest to be a bit faster.
And then I came across the boss level (World War 2320)... The issue is not the overpowered, starting with 400 armies boss, that I could deal with, it's that it is starting very close to you plus the other 2 AI are close by, preventing you from grabbing territories far from the erratic big lunatic (AKA The Boss).
I short, I hate this level, it's not fun to play and I don't see the interest in placing blockades that won't slow the boss, deny you future income and cost you current income that you badly need to fight the other 2 AIs (and the boss one)...
I think blockade fans will tremendously enjoy this level, but that, unless other further levels are just as hard, it will be a pain in the bottom for everyone else (as it is for me) to need to pass this one to get to the others.
It's way too hard, way too soon.
So I'd advise to either remove it completely from the single players games, move it up for difficulty, or, as another option, to make goups of single level games by difficulty (or thematic groups) and allow passage to the next group when you have completed 4 out of 5 or 8/9 out of 10 levels...
Sorry for the harsh crittic but I don't think this "Boss level" is the kind of challenge that will bring players to like Warlight and I dread the moment the players that did like it will start making games with features like that...
A shame, for the idea of modifying single-player levels is a good one and the other levels by themselves are quite entertaining and I would have liked to test them further...
Thank you for reading me !

single player levels should unlock in groups of difficulty tiers, needing you to do 80% of active levels to unlock the next, so people can skip one or two that they cant finish and still have a go at the next ones. would prevent some of the frustration from having to replay the same scenario over and over while you're still not getting the trick to win it.
