"Ahem, about the siblings, actually. They were actually kind of bratty." You say.
"True, but still. That was just an act; I think we all knew that. There was more to them than just that superficial modern youth. There were 2 kids who wanted to live their lives to the fullest, and learn to love, live and thrive. Now... there bodies are somewhere on this mountain." Ramone remarks (say that five times fast).
"Right-o then, well I better, uhhh, go get Amy and Tabby." Thomas says. Thomas then walks out through the back door, closing it behind him. Ramone looks toward you.
"So, I saw you and Leah..." Ramone smirks at you.

A. "Oh, hush it, haha" (playful)
B. "Please, don't talk about it.." (embarrassed)
C. "Yeah, she's kind of cute" (honest)

(I don't read your story I just pick random options.)

(c'mon man, the whole point of this is the story. I precisely decided to tell less of an adventure and more of an interactive story with this Zork)

"Yeah, she's kind of cute" You admit to Ramone, with a beaming smile on your face. Ramone would also smile, showing teeth.
"Well, try not to knock her up. Wait a tick.." Ramone fumbled with his pocket. Then a look of success flashes across his face, as he pulls out a wrapper from his pocket. He tosses it you. You read it aloud:
"Magnum XL. Oh god, hahaha!" You laugh heartily.
"Hey man, better safe than sorry! Haha..." Ramone then looked a little rosy in his cheeks as well. You think he also has a crush on someone in the group.

A. "Oh, I bet you like Amy!"
B. "Wait... you like Leah too, don't you!"
C. "I bet you're quite akin to Tabby!"
D. "Well, I suppose we should get everybody together for the party"

D. (I don't give a sh*t who this dumb Ramone douche likes.)

"Well, I suppose we should get everybody together for the party" You suggest. Ramone nods his head as you put the condom in your pocket. As you say this, Leah comes back with Casimir in tow.
"You okay now, Casimir?" You ask him. Casimir nods his head, and sulks over to sit down in the finely-appointed chair. Leah sits next to you on the sofa.
"Hey, you guys wait here. I think I saw some board games in a closet." Leah says.
"Sounds cool! We'll just be here then!" Ramone says. You watch her as she gets up and leaves, lingering on her sight before she heads upstairs. As your turn your head back, you see Ramone and Casimir with big smirks on their faces. Oh, brother, you think to yourself.
"Will you two grow up, already?" You ask. They both laugh. It isn't long before you join in on the laughter as well. Casimir pours himself a scotch, as well as another for you and Ramone.

A. Drink a little more
B. Turn down the offer to drink more

For now we better stay sober.

You decide it best to not drink, after all you are already slightly buzzed. Besides, you can't really play a board game drunk... You decide to join in on some small talk with Ramone and Casimir.
"Man, lemme tell you about filing taxes. Apparently because I live in an area with some disabled vets I have to another $250! Bloody hell!" Ramone says.
"Oh you think that's bad? I got my tax return redacted because I failed to provide some random insurance paper from 3 years ago. I tried to ask the insurance company for a reprint of the paper, but they said they lost it. So, I ask them if we can recreate it. Then they say that they have a policy where I can't do that if I don't get my tax return for the year! Da fuq is that?" Casimir says. You nod your head and chortle at your friends' plights.

Wow this could be a long story. I hope it proves to be worth the time, for reader and writer. No pressure lol.

Sorry, but if you don't mind I'll need to try to summarise the setting, characters and events thus far. We only get snippets at a time and so I forget things and am having to reread a lot. As with any story, I'm sure as we spend more time with the characters and in this world, that will hopefully change.

With me are my companions;

- Casimir; comedic, friendly, noticeable twitches, odd qualities; TRUSTED FRIEND (events taken toll on him)
- Leah; outgoing, influential, strong willed; DO NOT KNOW WELL (strong in wake of past events) CUTE
- Thomas; physically strong, at times irrational, loyal, honest, ladies' man; DO NOT KNOW WELL
- Ramone; helpful, not the cheeriest; FRIEND TO ALL

It is a late cold winter night upon a mountain, upon which there is a gated estate.

Estate comprises of hospital, lodge, shed, mines, caves, tower; once a vacation spot, abandoned ≈20 years ago

Beyond the gate, a greeting centre (left), surrounding woodland and a path into it.

Events

- At the estates gate, you gave Ramone firecrackers he claims to need later for "when we party"
- You help Leah vault the gate
- Nearby the Lodge, Tabby expresses someone (possibly Leah) giving "him" a hard time, likely referring to you/Casimir.
- Amy possesses key to enter Lodge (stated to have both upper and lower floors)
- You took and concealed a baseball bat on your person
(magically?? it's kinda big... perhaps a retcon needed here. Stow it somewhere.)
- Gather and conservatively drink alcohol around the fireplace
- Revealed that Casimir invited everyone to discuss previous years events:

Last year, an event occurred here leading to the deaths of Casimir's "kind of bratty" younger siblings:
brother Louis (17) and sister Jessica (18) "bodies somewhere on this mountain."


• Jessica's birthday party, and both Jessica and Louis were allowed to drink a little alcohol
  
• The group pulled a prank on Jessica (Louis possibly involved) that was "foolish" in your opinion and led to their deaths
  
• Casimir got too drunk to intervene, and leader-like Amy "tried to stop it before it was too late"
  
• Amy went to the bathroom at some point for a while
  
• Group thought the prank would be funny (at the time)

- Ramone agrees with you that it was foolish and no guilt should lie with Casimir or Amy
- Leah states the group were "acting like total idiots" (excl. Casimir and Amy)
- Tabby outbursts the fault lies with Casimir for being drunk, and Amy agrees strongly

• Tabby stated to not give "him" a hard time earlier. Possible change of mind or "him" does not refer to Casimir, and instead you, Don OR has been influenced (off scipt) by Amy
- Casimir defensively denies and blames the party, and the group, then storms off after being blamed.
- Leah asserts "we don't need this right now" for Amy to ease off of Casimir, Tabby supports Amy

• Leah could be heeding Tabby's advice to not give "him" a hard time, hence defending Casimir
-Amy and Tabby leave Lodge through the back, Leah goes after Casimir
-You, Thomas and Ramone remain by fire and further discuss last years events, regretfully:


• Ramone feels what they did to Jessica was worst thing he's ever done
  
• You feel when you "got Louis on it" was the "worst part"
  
• Revealed that Jessica was made to reveal herself to Ramone (possible nudity implied). Seeing "us in the closet" she "ran out of there". Louis ran after her and then they both (somehow) died

- Ramone gives you a condom after you reveal that you find Leah cute.
- Leah returns with Casimir.
- You and friends play board games, drink, and laugh.

(You're a natural --Don--. Don't know who Dom is, but he sounds like a cool guy too ;)
(If you want to keep track of things, the list will probably get larger very fast. I'd suggest you stick to the important decisions and the prominent plot points)

You think it fit to talk about Amy and Tabby's recent behavior.
"So... Amy and Tabby. That was pretty hectic, yes?" You say.
"Aww, that's just Amy being her usual, old, bitchy self" Leah says. "As for Tabby? It's clear Amy's pulling her strings or something. I just hope Amy doesn't get a hold of Thomas too, or we might have a full-blown altercation."
"And here I thought we'd have a fun weekend among friends, putting aside the past" says Casimir. The group nods as a whole.
"Well, I think it was uncalled for. Casimir, it IS our fault that you got drunk. We should have told you to limit yourself." Ramone says. Casimir smiles at this, but then a look of pain strikes Casimir's face.
"I need to go get some fresh air." Casimir says. He quickly shuffles outside the lodge through the front entrance.
"Yeah, I feel like relaxing, maybe grabbing some shuteye." Ramone says. He paces off upstairs, but not before giving you a final smirk that makes you blush a little.
"We should probably stay down here until Thomas comes back with the girls." Leah says. "Hold down the fort", she says with finger quotes. You nod your head, smiling a little.
"Hey, are you blushing?" Leah asks you.

A. "Nope"
B. "Is pi an irrational?"
C. "Err, yeah.."

Edited earlier summary to Don, not Dom... and yeah it will get rather long very fast but it's a mystery/thriller right? So minor details are always the clues :D Hopefully a summary wont keep being necessary.

Just by doing it, it helped me to consolidate events and characters... I'm bad with names lol and with all the names introduced relatively close together I kept forgetting who's who. (Also when the name Louis first appears spelt as Louise, theres no gender reference and I read it thinking it was some other girl, so I hope you won't mind me spelling it Louis.)

If I feel the need for more summaries, I'd only list events since the previous plus any changes to character personalities or Don's relationships.

Thanks for being cool about butchering your storytelling into bullet points :P

(sorry I didn't update for last 2 days. Work's been hammering me)

"Yeah, I'm blushing." You say, with your smile growing a little larger. Leah giggles a little at this. As you look toward, you begin pondering what to say next. As you ponder, you hear a blood curdling scream, followed by other howls and crackles.
"Jesus christ! What was that?" Leah says. You both get up from the sofa and head toward the front entrance. Thomas and Tabby rush toward the front door. They bash on the door, screaming.
"Let us in! Let us in!" They cry. In a hurried manner, you run toward the door. You see a looming silhouette in the woods with malice and benevolence in its steps.

A. Open the door.
B. Lock them out.
C. Run to the basement.
D. Run to the second floor

A : Take out my little friend kenny the baseball bat

--Important Decision Has Been Made--
-Let Thomas and Tabby inside-

You open the door, letting the pair inside. You motion to grab the baseball bat from your person, but before you can, the silhouette disappears into the woods. A bit of flame appears in the forest, before going out. You close the door swiftly, and lock it. The two grasp their knees and bend over in exhaustion, breathing heavily and rapidly. You decide to ask some questions.

A. "Where's Amy?"
B. "Are you okay?"

"Where's Amy?" You ask Tabby.
"I-I-I-I-" Tabby stutters on her words, before Thomas comes in to answer for her.
"It took her, the.. the thing" He says.

A. "What thing?" (insistence)
B. "What was that silhouette?"
C. Ask no further question

"I-I-I don't know, I don't know Don!" Tabby stammers out. Both Tabby and Thomas appear too visibly shaken to be asked further questions.
