I didn't like these because they sound to formal/cumbersome. But I think they are good at explaining what they do.

I quite like some of wct's suggestions especially "Fuck Over"

Along those lines, how about "Raze" as in "Raze to the ground" ? I quite like that, symbolises loss of control, as well as making the land useless and hard to regain.

EDIT: Somehow I missed wct saying Raze, in which case +1 for Raze :)

The more I think about it, "Mine" or "Minefield" makes sense. It's hard land to take, so multiplicity makes sense (as well as commiting troops/resources to lay it) and no-one has control of it so neutral makes sense (just as hard for the owner of a minefield to clear it again)

Also works well representing a trap if it's attacked that turn.

Guerilla and Scorched earth are good too.

Quick Blockade Card

I like the card names as they are. The only challenge is "remembering" when to use each one (which everyone learns pretty quickly).

If necessary, "Blockade" and "Rushed Blockade" would work for me.

But I think Abandon is just fine!

(Edit: "Wasteland" is my second-favourite option, after keeping the names as is.)

Burned land card
Like the Russians burned their own lands to stop the Germans in the Second World war. They Germans couldn't get any resourves wich were left behind this way

Okay, some of the better suggestions I've heard:

• Wasteland card is still my favorite because it makes the most logical sense, you are basically creating a wasteland.
  
• Raze card sounds nice
  
• I didn't like Mine field card at first, but I've grown to like that idea
  
• No Man's Land could work too, but it essentially seems like a wordier form of Wasteland.
  

As for scorched earth, I agree with ps:

scorched earth sounds a bit too magic the gathering :p

It doesn't fit with the warfare-type theme here. You have the reinforcement card, blockade card, airlift card, then the....... the........ the scorched earth card?

scorched earth would be fine if the territory went black and had like 3x on meaning you have to attack 3x b4 u gain it but as i see it the number of armies increases so scorched earth doesnt say that... remember it is a neutral terr with more armies,,,
