My ally got booted (no hate on him though) so my move wasn't work a spit, but hey... it was pretty sweet.

I also had a beautiful sweep of intel, in fact, I knew half of their picks. Had my ally stayed, I think I could have won. They would have been a challenge no doubt.

Making a single good turn doesn't make you a pro player. :P

Good start. Although I agree with Forbidden Knowledge.

I used to think I was improving drastically, but I invited him to a 1v1 (as practice) and learned that I have a long way to go. Sometimes Warlight is rather humbling.

It is a nice move, but it didn't materialise to nayhting, and it isn't anything that out of the ordinary (like Timi's blockade) so I struggle to find why this is on the forum?

Because not everyone has played against really good players like Timinator yet. If all of your games are 1v1 auto-games and other stuff that's just lying around on Open Games, it's very easy to think of yourself as a great player.

Never made top100 on the 1vs1 ladder CHECK
Stats all under 50% CHECK
Move that every noob could have made CHECK
Player is a pro UNCHECKED

To bad he already lost. Would have loved to beat his ass :p

I've played against piggy. Think I've played against myhand too. Played against some others too of or around that caliber.

I thought timi's blockade was interesting, though i doubt I'll ever be in a situation to use it.

Now, winning the match after your teammate got booted would definitely have been bragging rights.

I don't see how I could have. If my move went well, the guy still had another bonus to keep him alive, whilst AWESOMEGUY would be a slaughterhouse by the time I reached his ally.

Ooo, so a coin game don't gives you bragging rights, but a ladder match does. I see xD
