Sometimes when you're in a dragged out game and you look at your color and you just go damn that's an ugly shade of purple. Picking a visually appealing color is paramount to any aspiring warlight player.
What are some good warlight colors in your opinion and what are your primary and alternate colors?
Orange all day every day, backup options are usually Purple or Yellow, but depends how I' feeling on the day. There are stats about everyone's colours in ladder games by the way lurking somewhere in the forums - very interesting. Also tells you what colours are the most successful in Ladder Games (win percentage). I seem to remember Deep Pink was a low percentage played but one of the highest wins, and Red was by quite a distance the most used colour (not so sure about that, definitely one of the most used though.)
Electric Purple is the best. Also not many people use it so it's really rare that I have to change colors in a game.
I've found that Orange and Orange Red are really popular for some reason. Maybe it's just that I frequently play with a lot of players who use that as a primary, but I feel like every game has both of those in it.
I've always loved green, and blue and light blue are also a beautiful color. I also think red is great. But, then again, I've always loved the simple primary colors and never liked shades or mixes. Also, pick an easy to see color, they generally don't look terrible
