There is 0 reason to have an 8v8 ladder, much better for you to make your own 8v8 games, gives you options to change the settings whenever you want, considering you will be the only person playing it will be both easier for you to find games and more fun as you won't be limited to 1 setting and map all the time. Also saves everyone else unnecessary effort to make a ladder that won't be used.

I won't lie, even though I don't respect you as a player, from a purely analytical point of view your stats are very impressive, only more than 100 games played on 8v8 and 3v3v3v3 modes in over 1200 games.
You have more on 3v3v3v3 than on 1v1 + 2v2 + 3v3. 1st time I've seen that from anyone who plays warlight, I never thought those matchups were really played.

Thanks hedja, i think your pretty impressive too. And i wasnt implying that we use the official poon squad settings (which btw have 1 neutrals and light fog sephiroth). I would be fine with having the ladder settings. I would just like to see more ladder options because 1 vs 1 and 2 vs 2 have been done to death.

In my opinion, 8 (and even 5) is too many. It would be hard to form a team and keep it going. Teams on the ladder would be perpetually new. Even the 2v2 ladder has a lot of turnover.

8v8 ladder would be almost impossible IMO. First, vacations boot you from the ladder, so if any of the 8 people on your team go on vacation, that team won't be on the ladder until they get back. How many 8v8 teams could you even have? There are like 150 clans, but I bet a good chunk of those don't even have 8 people active.

It would be great if team ladders were ranked using TrueSkill with individual ratings, not team rating.

3v3 Ladder... Probably Europe 4x5. If it doesn't come out, it would be a good CLOT.

A 3v3 Europe 4x4 0% SR ladder would make my day.

the more players a game has the likelier there is of a boot happening. ladder would end up a random mix of games with innactive people coming in and out of teams for each different game. not fixed teams playing regular games.

that being said i still like the idea of a ladder with random team mates of the same skill tier. i did a CLOT proof of concept of that once and it worked pretty decently.

I agree %100 ps. I would love to see one for random teams of 3v3 europe, but it would need to match player ratings so you aren't stuck with noobs.

ps you should start that clot up again...

Master Turtle: 2 reasons why i don't:
1) it needed quasi-daily maintenance (which i don't want to invest my free time in)
2) active CLOT's aren't properly highlighted anywhere on warlight's main interface, so it would have an initial peak of interest with a few players championing the effort and then it would die a slow death lacking player rotation
