The surrender button disappears/becomes inactive. The game will not end until a player/team boots or is eliminated.

The original creator of built-in card designs was Fizzer. Later, the built-in card designs were replaced by Sam Trout (see credits of https://www.warzone.com/About). Custom card designs are currently made by the mod author, though some mod authors seem to use AI-generated designs rather than human ones. Unclear which models are used for AI-generated card designs for certain mods.

lol alex. i thought rainbow card gave a player the power of being on all teams. when played any attacks against are transferred instead.

I'd need membership for starters (ideally lifetime). I've already used the free trial to update mods I had previously published. I've previously spent money on the game for membership among other things but then deleted my accounts due to trust issues with site admins. I feel as though my contributions to mods are exploited by Warzone due to no direct way to support development of mods and that players wanting to use mods in their games need membership. Can't really develop mods without membership because doing so means I can't actually test if mods work myself. It's difficult to communicate exactly what I want to test and any steps that would be useful for debugging, even if it is with someone who has technical knowledge. Development process is too slow and too much of an energy burden to ask for someone else to do testing on your behalf.

I have created a feature request to allow non-members to create and update mods as well: https://www.warzone.com/Forum/811654-allow-mod-development-sp-nonmembers .

As I previously said, I've already spent money on membership, and unwilling to pay for it this time around.

Idk if this has already been suggested, because I am not going to read back 170 posts.

Delayed blockade card
Like a normal blockade card, except its blockading action happens X turns later.

Might be interesting to have it blockade regardless of who or what owns the territory at that point in time.

If it can always block regardless of owner, it should probably have a marker or something that tells whoever has that territory that it is going neutral. But would be way more fun if a territory you captured several turns ago suddenly blockaded itself.

I think there was an idea of Delayed Blockade, but it was just a blockade that happened as an order instead of before orders (EMB) or after orders (BLK), which is somewhat interesting but not really all that unqiue; before and after likely already fulfill 90%+ of use cases

but this idea is unique in that it occurs in future turns

is the idea that it's still regulated Blockade style flat % or some kind of changing ratio depending on how far in the future? and does it require a trigger or just time based?

I was thinking just fixed number of turns based, with a fixed ratio (both set by the host).

But having it a variable number of turns in the future (configured by player when activating the card) with the ratio depending on how long it waits is also an interesting idea.

yea it kind of gives it an interesting aspect of having to deal with it before it gets to a no-longer-reasonably capturable size

actually if it blockades anyhow even after capture, guess that means an enemy would have to capture it at least 1 turn before the timer, to be able to move off it so their own units don't go neutral

another idea from Old Yeller

a card that permits you to transfer units to another player

actually aimed at transferring to teammates in diplo games

which means it kind of belongs in Factions but Dutch doesn't want to add new functionality so unfortunately it would have to live outside of that

making Diplo v5 would be the logical step but I also don't want to make yet another diplo mod, especially since I've been trying to get people onto Factions instead of away since it's better in almost every way (1 lacking, can't invite players into your own faction)

so maybe just a totally side mod of it's own that lets one transfer units to any other player without regard to diplo alliances/wars/Factions/etc

I suppose the next aspect to consider is, does this make sense as a card? or just functionality accessible from the mod menu, like gift gold/gift armies?

those 2 mods kind of do the same thing, but GG requires commerce, gift armies is kind of weird in how it distributes the armies, whereas this would be an actual transfer order which actually makes more sense

Surrender double-check card

A special for Optimum players: When accepting a surrender, it will give you a warning if it's a teammate's surrender. That way, you can safely play with trolls without accidently throwing games.

We really need the surrender double check card - would help avoid CL being tainted by horrible trolls!
