Check what again? Whoever takes longer first turn gets 2nd and 3rd pick. With 15 days of banked time, it doesn’t seem in line with CL’s goal to make the run time of CL quicker if you can use the banked time for a tactical edge.

After the first round in a tournament, games will be made shortly after midnight UTC (assuming the clot is still up :P).

Just the first round of tournaments depends on LF.

Whoever is faster in picking gets first pick. But it is not necessarily true, that if you commit first that you have picked fastest.
Other than that just on a side note, my goal is not to make Clan League faster. :)

LF, I know how NLC works. I’m saying that often you want to take the longest time in distribution so that you get #2 & #3 picks instead of #1. That means that whoever opens the game and starts the timer first will have more time to add to the timer. This was one of the reasons why I was asking if the games are launched at a specific time.

My side notes are to point out that this might be unfair for those in timezones that are sleeping when the games launch. I believe this is the reason that MTL and the World Tour use regular cyclic order for their Elitist Africa template.

Also to mention that this will result in purposeful stalling, prolonging the games and potentially CL. You say your goal is not to make CL shorter, but when I listened to the SDC episode with Cowboy, it seemed like the shortening of CL by removing vacations and adding banked time was something that he took pride in. Although it’s just a single 1v1 template and the odds of that isn’t very high, I don’t think the reason the banked time exists is so players can waste it in the distribution phase for a slight tactical edge. It’s obviously many months too late to change anything, but I would suggest avoiding NLC for competitive multi-day games in the future.

Anyway, this is just the 2 cents of a nobody. Love all the work you do LF, thanks for working hard to put this together. I’m excited for my Biomes game that starts soon. Good luck to everyone in their games.

Though I think there are pros and cons for both variants.

I believe in most cases it makes sense to have 1st choice on Elitist. With 2nd and 3rd choice you also get last (14th) choice. With 1st choice you have 4 of 7 times an earlier choice. With 2nd choice you only have 3 times an earlier choice. NLC has its charme I think. But I am no real INSS expert either.

However the cyclic variant wasn't even suggested. Template choices have been made. That is it.🤷‍♂️😊

farah is more busy in real life than he expected and therefore asked to be subbed out. no third template - out for 2 of 2.
