When night fell, the villagers all returned home, hoping that they wouldn't be targeted during the night. The settled down, apprehensively, and prayed.
But one man did not sleep. He had a vendetta against one man, and stalked him back to his house, where he waited outside, hidden in the shadows, until the man was asleep. Maybe he had got annoyed with his attitude? Maybe he wanted the man to concentrate on his Wild West game? Maybe, even, he thought the man was a wolf (although given the 3 games so far, this seems unlikely)! Whatever the reason, the man stole out of the shadows in the dead of the night, whipped out his pistol and shot the man through his heart.
Silver is DEAD. He was a villager.
At the sound of the pistol, the villagers amassed at the scene of the death, murmuring quietly, and trying to understand the situation. Meanwhile, one man stayed at home. He was worried it was a trap, and did not want to be caught out in the open if the wolves game for him.
Alas, his tactic was wrong, and the wolves came for him at home anyway, and though he heard them coming and tried to escape through the roof, one wolf had stayed outside and met the man as he slid down the thatch and into the path of the waiting wolf.

Meanwhile, one man missed all of the events, as he'd consumed far too much whisky and vodka the previous evening, and passed out next to the well outside the inn. He would not wake for a while, either!
