The village began to retire to their beds for the night, in trepidation. Several of their compatriots had died, and there was still at least one wolf out there. Maybe more! And they were down to just 5 left! What would the night bring?

Darkness descended upon the village, but in the dead of the night, something stirred!

His balls. suddenly sat bolt upright in bed, dripping with sweat - he had been having a nightmare! Except his nightmare was not the stuff of fiction, but of reality! He'd forgotten to water his hydrangea's! How would they cope? He resolved to water them then and there, and put on his silk dressing gown, and fluffy slippers, before filling a bucket with water and heading out into the night.

Meanwhile, unbeknown to his balls., a man lurked in the shadows. He had previously been an elder, but turned his badges in after turning to the drink several nights before. He'd awoken next to a collection of pistols, and had styled himself as a vigilante. He had two bullets, and he knew he must use them to save the village! He had loitered in the shadows throughout the evening and into the night, waiting for a sign of movement that would give away a wolf, and his eyes lit up when he saw his balls. emerge into the night. He stealthily followed him, and despatched the man with his new-found friend, his pistol.

his balls. is DEAD. He was a villager.

The vigilante swore loudly, as he realised his mistake. He had his second bullet left, he reminded himself, but he couldn't afford to waste that too! He set off after Dr Stupid, resolving himself to take out the man he now knew must be a wolf. But, alas, he was too late, as when he reached the Doctor's house, he found the door slightly ajar; the Doctor was clearly out! He walked around, looking for a nearby hiding spot, and found a slight shrub with which he could conceal himself, and wait for the man's return. Unfortunately, though, he had been out-thought, and the remaining wolves had heard the earlier pistol shot, and followed the man from afar, biding their time. When it came, their victory was complete, and the man breathed no more.

skunk940 is DEAD. He was an elder, before turning into a vigilante after he was drunk!

As morning came, G. Arun emerged from his house groggily; he had not slept well. His night had been punctured by at least one pistol shot and a raucous night of wolfish activity, and consequently he was too tired to foresee what was to come. He walked into the square, and was immediately pounced upon by the two remaining wolves, who easily overcame his resistance to finish him off and claim victory!

G. Arun is DEAD. He was a villager!

DR. STUPID & LAWLZ HAVE BOTH SURVIVED. THEY WERE BOTH WOLVES!

Congratulations to team wolf;
Ace Windu, Apollo (JuggaWolf), Dr. Stupid, Lawlz, Lord Veigar, Kasparov & Ska2D2 (drunk wolf)

Gg both.

Lawlz just tread the line nicely all game. Obviously should have gone earlier though.

He shot you then Stupid in that order. It was crucial; I told skunk that if the wolves killed him, the order mattered, so he spent a while deliberating who to shoot first!

Pre-night it was Kasp & Lawlz (Kasp subsequently lynched) and then he went for the hero shots, but in the wrong order!

It was a very, very close decision and could have flipped the game right there!

Nicely played wolves. The night I died, I saw his balls was a wolf, which made him village. At that point, I was able to correctly guess all the wolves except I had Kantos tabbed as a wolf instead of dr. Stupid.

Many mistakes by the village, but also thinking ahead by the wolves. The early killings of myhand and timi took out the two wisest villagers. Also killing me rather than tactical and skunk was a strong decision. I am honestly surprised the village came so close to winning; with a correct shot from skunk, it would have been a village win I think. Also, I still hate skunks move to tell me lawlz was an angel. Terrible move by him; it was because of his lie that lawlz survived.

Shoutout to stupid, who from what I've heard, led the wolves; he played a very strong game.

From an admin perspective:
*9 wolf roles, 9 special roles initially.
*From the off, there were 6 wolves in play (inc. the JuggaWolf), and Ska turned into a wolf later on. There were 7 special roles in play, with skunk swapping late on.
*The seer roles went to MMB, who was dead pretty much before the game started, and rento. I really expected him to do well, but the wolves got very lucky taking him out so early; they reckoned he'd be a good player, hence the kill, but to get the second seer was a huge bonus.
*JSA was the idiot, and obviously with the 2 seers dying so soon, could clearly see he was the idiot. He used the night one info (that skunk wasn't a villager) and that effectively confirmed the two of them. After that, he saw two dead people the night they died + 2 useless results, which was frustrating for him.
*Coaleyes was the only angel all game! His silencing the first two days, whilst frustrating at the time, actually really helped him, as the wolves didn't consider him for a while. He tried to save 3 different people (G. Arun, his balls. & skunk), all of who were on the village side!
*skunk & TI were the two elders. The elder role had two parts; they could effectively confirm themselves, which they both worked out fairly on, but they could also control close lynches; neither of them really used their power in this way.
*The spare roles had the other angel (2), vig (3) and 3 wolves (6, 9, 10)
*Drunks; Ska picked 6 first, and became a wolf. Frank then picked 6 too, so got Ska's discarded village role. Ace was a wolf anyway, Genghis died before he could pick, and Kantos' choice of 8 was a villager role. Skunk picked 3 at the end to become a vig.
*The wolves. A very impressive performance! The only perhaps slight mistake I saw was not even attempting to break Team Village mid-game, but I understand the risks it posed, and to be honest, you all played bloody well. How Lawlz survived to the end is beyond me, but Dr. Stupid, the General of the group played superbly all game, and I tip my cap to you.

Finally, a word to everyone who played. Thank you. Thank you so very much for the effort you put in, the spirit you played it in, the lack of dead speak and the general manner of all of you; the game was a pleasure to run, and I really, really enjoyed it!

Those of you who haven't played but thought it would be easy, it is not! I figured coming into this game I could lead Team Village to an easy win, but the wolves played much better this game, and you really can't trust anyone 100%. I had a good time, but it was very stressful, and time-consuming, so I don't think I'll play next game.

Thanks Dom by the way. That was really fun. I got booted in about 20 rt games due to this.

Not that it matters, because Lawlz would have still taken the victory for the wolves, but I'm sure complete vigilante actions should play out regardless of whether they are killed by the wolves.

The other order would have forced a win. Me and Arun would definitely have gone for Lawlz.

[9/30/2014 5:56:55 PM] Timinator: Since day 1, usually almost everyone agreed with the people i found suspicious, remember?
[9/30/2014 5:57:43 PM] Timinator: so some repeated my suspects, strengthening my theory
[9/30/2014 5:57:54 PM] Timinator: and now comes the big "but"
[9/30/2014 5:59:02 PM] Timinator: We know there are wolves amongst us. Nobody tried to bring somone else into the spotlight. This must mean wolves were fine with the actual suspects, which states they had to be villagers
[9/30/2014 5:59:45 PM] Timinator: so i striked out almost every "suspect" we've had at that point
[9/30/2014 6:00:00 PM] Timinator: and searched for the persons cheering me to make those suspicious
[9/30/2014 6:00:14 PM] Timinator: so i stumpled upon dr. stupid and ace :)

Damn nice. Obviously for us to spot this we would have to know you were village. I would have liked to see you to try to convince everyone of that. If I'm a wolf in the next one (I hope there will be) I will be punching to keep people who think about the game. I will be night killing lurkers.

We are still learning a lot about playing as villagers. I maintain that village should win more often, especially in a larger game like this.

Oh yeah and Lawlz. The fullproof plan, that was scuppered by the silencing by TI of stupids vote on arun. Turned out not to be fullproof anyway, but here it is.

I double lynched kasp at the last minute (something a wolf would never do in the end game) proving my alignment and leaving just 4 players. Me Lawlz stupid and skunk.

I then told skunk (who had already informed me he was a vigilante) to shoot both the other two (didn't matter if one of them was village) hoping that my alignment was obvious from the days actions.

Village win.

That was your 'foolproof' method for finding out wolves! You disappoint me :D

Dr Stupid!!! Your last day posts were pretty wolffish but before that you played a good game; credit where credits due. Lawlz was also surprisingly effective.

Arun. What???
No it wasn't to find wolves. It was just an endgame winning strategy.
Also I really like foolproof as a word.

What I really wanted though was it to just be me stupid and skunk left and skunk shoot us both for the guaranteed win. I would have obviously supported this tactic showing I'm a villager. He maybe considers saving me to share the victory but at the last second shoots me too as its the only way to be sure.

Would have loved to have seem Dom's write up about the lonely vigilant who shot the last wolf but also his last village companion, just standing there head bowed at the end of the game in solemn hollow victory. End credits.
