I'd like there to be no messaging allowed for villagers. The village lost because of bad village play.

Depends, if you want to use alpha wolf again villagers need something to balance it out.
Last game we got lucky because inactivity killed him, but an active alpha is deadly beyond measure.

Maybe activate masons?
A select few villagers who know who they are and can message each other.

I agree with ace. Trust me this game should already be stacked for the village due to the completeness of records in written format.

Private messaging only for wolves. Angel should not be allowed to protect themselves.

Head Wolf/Godfather is a pretty common role in Wolves/Mafia. It's not crazy powerful IMO.

Maybe in RL it's not, but here on the forum it is.

The presence of an alpha makes all seering reports questionable. You can't fight that. It's too OP.

The actual power of this role is not particularly high, given the odds of a particular Mafioso being investigated or killed being somewhat low in general.

I am more than more than happy to listen to the consensus of participants here :)

But be assured that if villagers can talk, I'll give wolves some sort of powers and/or extra numbers, and vice versa if they can't!

I agree with Ace, village shouldn't be allowed to message eachother and only lost because of their own ineptness.
