Arena is not worth the time you spend playing the game. It could take your 40 min to play a SE game. Is that really worth the equivalent of 10 minutes of resources?

The arena games are created based on the ratings of available players. If no other players beside you are searching for a game, you're obviously not going to be able to find a game.

Giving you an AI would be unfair, because the AI absolutely sucks, giving you practically a free win. It would also cause issues with changing your QM rating, since an AI doesn't have a template rating.

As for a SE game taking 40 minutes, either the 2 players are very equally skilled, or 1 of the 2 should have surrendered half an hour earlier.

Also, i think that for idle , the wheelspin which gives coins and a free power, is far more important than any cache you get for winning the actual game.

I think the 1v1 arenas are still ok, there you still carry the responsibility yourself. But the 2v2 arena is absolutely pointless. Tying a cache to the condition of winning a match with someone you can't pick, plays badly, gets booted or surrenders too early makes no sense. Besides the eternal waiting time you can also play your 2v2 stats down comfortably.

Anyway, I don't play them anymore...

I kindly ask the people I matchup with to surrender, half are cool and do it so I dont spend hours on it. Small reward but no risk if Im just waiting for something else.

JK is an active guy ... he was probably talking to someone else about CW at the same time and got confused. Give him a couple hours, he'll show up and confess his sins.

I still play idle arenas, although I am more careful now.

It was always wonky, but nearly two weeks ago, it got worse.

Had the case where the app did not tell me it found an opponent.
I did not get pop-ups warning me it's my turn.
So I got booted.

Sucks to have a boot rating.

Well, if you're playing a QM game anyway, why not go for a small additional Idle reward?
