1. SNinja --> most consolidated line up filled with star power. 2. Master --> mod, timi and rufus, all 3 almost invincible 3. One --> strong line up, but will underperform 4. Python --> wont profit from the merge 5. GG --> my own clan 6. FCC --> if octane fails to deliver, they will relegate 7. HAWKS --> will have a hard time

We've got 19 predictions now (9-16 for each individual division) so I figured it's time to visualize them: http://bit.ly/cl14-predictions (will update periodically as more people predict). The darker the color, the more predictions have a clan finishing in a specific positions. So we can see which clans/positions the crowd feels more or less sure about, in which divisions. I also had it list the usernames of the predictors since those are nice to know, especially for outliers. Not all crowd-members are created equal!

ye damn. what if the empty glass is Phyton? As Trappatoni said once former trainer of FC Bayern Munich "[Die Leistung] Ist wie Flasche leer" :D ("[the performance] Is like bottle empty")
PS: I dont really think Phyton is the empty bottle or glass. Only thinking what if.. I am just a noob coming from Division B. What do I know :)

This glass metaphor doesn't make any sense because the important thing is the variance within the original groups. A better metaphor would be Jeeps.
If you buy two old Jeeps that need repairs and you want to cobble them together into one good Jeep, it depends on how the originals are like, internally. If they need repairs because some parts in each Jeep work great while some other parts are totally broken, then you can probably salvage parts from each Jeep to create a new Jeep that's better than either original. But if both Jeeps are broken down because all (or most) of their parts are garbage, then you can't combine the two to assemble a better Jeep.
You just need one good Jeep. Were Outlaws/Lynx middling last season because all their players were middling? Or because some of their players were really good while others were middling and dragged the clans down? The merger could work really well if they combined complementary really good players, and I think that's what happened looking at their lineup.
PS: Unlike the noncommittal let's fight above, I do really think Python is a damn good Jeep.

Its not that people think HAWKS are bad, just that other clans in A are better. The difference between A and the rest of the divisions is that the players considered "good enough" to lead a team or finish decently in a 1v1 slot needs to be among the very best players on that template in order to have a chance.
In any other division being willing to learn, active and motivated are the main factors. In A its raw talent.
HAWKS seems to be a great clan, with a good community, but how many HAWKS-players would beat Buns, Rufus, Ai, Octane, Rakleader in a best of 3? Noone. And thats not even half the list: Fsg, xeno, timi, mod, meld, hergul, max, pardon, malakkan, jake, summer, plat, njord, wini and the list goes on and on. All these players are better than any HAWKS player. Moreover, these players tend to play what suits their strengths, which leaves HAWKS with next to nothing in comparison. Optimism and will to fight only gets you so far, but please prove us all wrong :) You might be more talented than we give you credit for, at least I hope so :)

Back to our Jeep metaphor: the HAWKS are a like a really motivated and clever team that keeps street-racing in a 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee. At most tiers (Qualifiers, D, C, B), your Jeep can win against sports cars and race cars because your drivers are well-trained, you've modded the hell out of the Jeep, and you're incredibly consistent in your pit crew, performance, and all those intangibles. Your Jeep can win against even the uncommon Ferrari or rare Bugatti that competes in those tiers.
In Division A, though, you're up against not just world-class street racer cars but ones that have also been modded, are also consistent, and on top of all that have the raw build and design to just demolish you on paper. They've got such a lead over you that they can even afford to mess up a little and still pick up the slack.
At some point you just have to confront that you are driving only a Jeep, in a race against Hennesseys.

Division A (Prove me wrong HAWKS!!!) 1. Python 2. Masters 3. ONE! 4. SNinja 5. FCC 6. HAWKS 7. |GG|

Division C (I didn't really feel to strongly about this division, all I know is that CORP always chokes) 1. TSFH 2. Polish Eagles 3. CORP 4. Statisticians 5. TLA 6. Discovery 7. BIA
Division D (IDK) 1. Vikinger 2. Varangian Guard 3. Hodopian Dynasty 4. TBA 5. Saber-Rattlers 6. IL LABORATORIO 7. USSR
