A lot of games have finished in the Volcano Island 1v1 tournament mostly, getting Timinator MASTER clan's 6th tournament win. Amount of games left per tournament: Deadman's RoR - 4 games left India - 3 games left Biomes of America - 3 games left Strategic MME 2v2 - 3 games left Volcano Island 2v2 - 5 games left Blitzkrieg Bork - 1 game left Elitist Africa - 1 game left French Brawl - 0 games left Malvia - 2 games left Strategic MME 1v1 - 2 games left Volcano Island 1v1 - 1 game left I literally said last time that VI 1v1 was lagging behind, and then the players just decided to finish 8 out of the 9 remaining games since the last update! Now there's never more than 5 games left in a tournament, VI 2v2 is the slowest one at the moment, but with nearly 90% of games finished, there's not a tournament that will make this CL last a lot longer than necessary (or so it seems) Then for the Mini H2H championship for second place:

Mentioned should be that despite |GG| dropping a bit of percentage on H2H's they have really run away on games vs Blitz, Stats & BIA. While HAWKS seems to win the H2H, |GG| has 141 points now, with HAWKS at 151 max points and {101st} at 150 max points. Mainly performance against Blitz seems to be the deciding factor here (|GG| won that H2H 33-7, HAWKS is at 12-15 behind). Who knows, by this time next week it could all be decided ;) It should be noted that Statisticians is now locked into 6th, their max 86 points is no longer enough to have the possibility to beat out Blitz, who are now sitting at 90 points. That makes the range for each clan: MASTER clan 1 - promoted |GG| 2-4 HAWKS 2-5 {101st} 2-5 Blitz 3-5 - staying in B Statisticians 6 - relegated BIA 7 - relegated MASTER clan has been only winning for many updates now, again winning 3 games, securing another two perfect score, 6-0 on both biomes 2v2 and volcano island 1v1. They need 9 more points to get the record, and from what I've heard there's at least 8 points secure, meaning the record is as good as broken. |GG| has a 4-3 record this week, their good score on 2v2 MME falls from 3-1 to 3-3, but other than MASTER clan, no clan seems to be taking a solid second place. Still losing the H2H against HAWKS hurts them a bit; the 0-3 on DRoR however has been fixed to a 3-3 and they now have a 5-1 on India as well. The 3v3's seem to be carrying them towards promotion, they only have 5 games left though, they need to win 3-4 of those to secure promotion, otherwise they need to rely on HAWKS losing some games. Of their remaining games, 1 is against MASTER, 2 are against HAWKS and 2 are against 101st, meaning those 3-4 wins are all but secured, it'll be interesting until the finish! HAWKS doesn't have a great week, Relajate seems to be losing out, having a 0-3 record and now only having one game left against master of desaster. They do get an important win on 2v2 MME over |GG|, giving their team their first win, and it is the only team with a chance to still play more than even (aside from MASTER which has finished 6-0), despite being 1-2. They also secure a 3-3 score on India after a meh start, but their biomes performance has been not so good. Their record this week is 2-4. HAWKS has 9 games remaining; 1 against MASTER, 2 against |GG|, 1 against {101st}, 3 against Blitz & 2 against BIA. In order to have any chance of promotion they need to win both games against |GG|, and they most likely will need to secure at least 8 out of these 9 games. It's a tough job, but there's still something of a chance. {101st} has a good week, John comes through on Volcano Island 1v1, 3-0 this week to get to 4-1. This is their only score this week, so nothing to complain about. 101st has the most games left of all clans, 12 to be exact; 1 against MASTER, 2 against GG, 1 against HAWKS, 3 against Blitz, 3 against Statisticians & 2 against BIA. In order to have a chance at promotion, they'd need to win at least 8, including the ones against HAWKS, GG & MASTER. If they lose the game against MASTER they need to win 10 of the others at least, but more likely 11. [Blitz] can no longer promote, nor relegate; Mars decided to give up after that it seems, with an odd surrender against JV. This may cost HAWKS and/or 101st the promotion slot. He finishes 2-4. Their overall record this week is 1-3, but as said it doesn't really matter anymore. Statisticians wins a 2v2 MME game over GG which is nicely played, but Belson loses out on Volcano Island 1v1, 0-3 this week, 1-5 overall. Jackie has redeemed a 0-3 on EA to a 3-3 with a nice win over Relajate (who was clearly hoping for a boot here), but with another loss on both DRoR & India, their record this week is 2-5 and they now officially relegate. They finish this CL in sixth. BIA finishes no games this week, so nothing else to say there really.

MASTER breaks the all time record of points for division B with now 211 points, they can still get up to 220 depending on their final two games. They have 8 tournament wins, and just destroyed this division, congratulations! Notable is that despite the booting start Jackie had he did redeem a 0-3 to a 3-3. Congrats master of desaster on wiping the tournament without getting free wins, great performance! Volcano Island 1v1 Final Standings:

Another 6-0 for MASTER clan, this time for Timinator. The weird thing about this tournament is Mars. He went 2-4, but if you look at the games he surrendered (or booted), he should have been 5-1, simply removing his surrender button would have gotten him the tournament win. For the second promotion slot, 101st is no longer in the running. |GG| has 141 points, {101st} has a maximum of 140 points after losing those two DRoR games. It almost looks as if GG has it in the bag, but HAWKS is still fighting and not about to give up! That makes the range for each clan: MASTER clan 1 - promoted |GG| 2-3 HAWKS 2-4 {101st} 3-5 - staying in B Blitz 4-5 - staying in B Statisticians 6 - relegated BIA 7 - relegated MASTER clan has added Elitist Africa and Deadman's RoR to the tournaments they got a perfect score on. This brings the total of tournaments for which they managed a 6-0 to 6; which will be 7. Of their remaining tournaments there's 2 5-1's. Ryiro finished 4-2 despite a boot, leaving the Volcano Island team as their weakest spot. This means they have set the record, we will see them again in A, congratulations again to master of desaster for singlehandedly carrying his clan! |GG| finish no games to keep the tension for second place high ;) HAWKS loses a game and wins one, the margin between GG securing promotion and HAWKS still being able to take it is 7 points, which means HAWKS needs to set a winstreak soon and they need GG to lose at least 3 of their remaining games, including both H2H's they still have. They're putting up a good fight, but will they be able to pull through? {101st} starts dropping DRoR games, and as a result they are now no longer in the fight for promotion. They will stay put this CL, and will partake in Division B again next time. A 2-2 record this week, and a well put up fight, they held on to second for a while even causing people to believe they could promote, if they had not lost out on india, they could very well have had a good chance. [Blitz] can no longer promote, nor relegate either. Almost every slot that was not booted on played even (sigh Jeff), only Elitist Africa (sigh Jeff) they can no longer break even, though it seems plausible they also won't on one or more of the team slots remaining (MME, VI 2v2 & DRoR). If they were to stop booting, get rid of mars' surrender button and recruit one or two good players to solidify their roster, they could make serious contenders next CL. If not, it seems likely they will be relegated (sigh Jeff). Statisticians came to their own a bit late in the competition, Jackie Treehorn started off as the worst player of the division, but has redeemed himself to finish 3-3, 3-3 and 1-5; he has promised not to boot anymore, so keep him to it! That said, Statisticians did very well in CL11 in Division A, they almost managed to hold on when Yeon, Math Wolf & Jackie Treehorn played and competed at full strength. They could pose an interesting challenge for Division C, and maybe even promote back if their heart is in it, but their roster is small and they will need said strength. BIA loses another 3 games, they are dead last, but they have on occasion snatched some points; from my perspective they'll go from a relegation into another relegation fight in C, it'll be interesting to see if they manage to hold on there next CL. I have actually enjoyed doing these updates, thank you for the christmas cards HAWKS, MASTER clan, Statisticians and JK_3. Thank you for reading these posts, it means my work was not for nothing (: I will be back with you two more times, once when the last promotion slot is decided with a short update, and once after everything is done with all the final tallies. But I wanted to thank you all for a fun CL, even if this was not my division, you kept me thoroughly entertained, I hope I have provided you with some of the same (: And for those who won't read the last two posts, good luck in your next CL!

Where is our weekly update?@goralgn: Sorry, I was a bit bussy. First, there was a major change in A with Outlaws and Lynx planning on merging which will also effect B. There will be 3 clans promoting. I have pasted the current standings below. There are only 2 games remaining. --> As expected MASTER Clan will finish first. The sad thing is that they are at 216 points and thus are breaking the previous M'Hunters clan league record of 208 points. It will be interesting to see the 2 best clans in WarLight fighting it out in the future. --> With Outlaws and Lynx merging, the second promotion race between GG and Stats has become meaningless. Both clans promote, congrats. --> 101st and Blitz stay in B. GL next season --> HAWKS and BIA relegate. I'm sure they will do fine in C where the field is less competitive.
