Good job Math Wolf, almost forgot audit panel existed tbh. Clear overstepping of boundaries and manipulation by dictator Farah and/or whoever else went through with that overruling attempt.

To clarify, my post is not my personal opinion, it's an official communication of the audit panel.

Was there an official statementment yet about how to proceed?

This should include
- what templates are free for voting
- and how the timeline will be effected

when can we expect this statement

The templates that are options for voting are the ones originally listed in rak's post. I don't believe a decision has been made on the new timeline.

So that means there was no official info about the final templates yet.

Or is this ^ the official statement?

We would therefore like to invite the template panel to discuss and decide whether they want to amend the list of templates (with any templates they deem necessary after reading the comments in this topic) or not. Due to the deadline, this should probably be done as quickly as possible to avoid more confusion.

Here we go:

I'm writing this message on behalf of the template panel: Beren • apex, Njord, Super Smoove, Xenophon and me.


The shortlist we chose is final.
We selected those 4+6+12 templates because in our opinion, they are the best options available among the nominated templates.
(And before anyone twists our words: by best options, we mean they are all good templates that are not overplayed on Clan League.)
Some disagree with our choices, but our opinion hasn't changed. We stand by our initial shortlist.

Now, this is where our role ends. We've been asked to come up with a shortlist and we did.
If you're not happy with our decision and want to have a fourth panel reverse it, feel free to do it. If you want to fire the template panel or have the clan leaders vote on some new shortlist of templates, go for it.

But as far as we're concerned, we've made our position clear. So whatever you do next, do it without us. We believe we have already wasted enough time on this whole mess.

Deadline remains December 1st, although, it is a soft deadline, feel free to take more time if needed.

Plat, they are only being kind. they want to take some of the weight of carrying the drama out of just you having the responsibility (and talent ofc). i mean, i don't blame them. they also want to have some fun!!!

Does anyone remember when CL was about playing games and having fun?

After read the topic I understood now why somebody told me earlier that the dictatorialism is the most effective way for organize community event :)
Anyway, maximum respect for the different panels, not an easy work at all.

But if you want more variety, why don't you use an objective system for this purpose instead of a subjective one (Cowboy asked the panel)?

For example, there could be a yearly penalty system for the most used templates in the CL.
I mean, -1 "points" every year for a template which chosen in the given year (last 5 years counted eg.)
So the "overplayed" template would have a handicap before the voting, but if the community still want them, they can vote in (only need more votes to eliminate that handicap)
