I remember they teased galactus in that bad Fantastic Four silver surfer movie. Those were the days.

Don't remember it. Anyway, off topic, the last avengers movie sucked not because they lost, but because it was poorly written. In one scene Thanos beat the crap out of a whole ship crew, in another he had trouble with one guy. And the avengers lost not because Thanos outsmarted and/or beat them, but because they were complete idiots when they should have at least had common sense. If Thanos was consistent in strength and won with superior tactics or something, that would be fine. But this stupidity and inconsistency, come on.

I went on too much about it did I.

It would give you something to do while you're stalling from Multi-Day games

Pretty sure goodgame was spoiling infinity war. :P

It does frustrate me a little that a lot of fights don't involve any real planning or strategy. Like in manga/anime, the most obvious solution is to Leeroy Jenkins the antagonist and assume they become road kill. :/

Speaking of Endgame. I do think they pander to the audience a bit much, and it hurts the flow of the story. There's a few events that don't make sense, and a few others that might be missing. They use some dangerous gimmicks in storytelling, though they do a decent job trying to work around the implications. They did a good job closing out most of the characters, though some endings came out of nowhere - in a bad way. Overall I liked it. :D

Thanos snaps the infinity stones out of existence, so Thor kills him and the Avengers go back in time using the quantum realm to get the infinity stones from the past. Hulk/Banner snaps his fingers to bring everyone back, but an annoyed Thanos (from the past) comes to the future to get the stones and snap the whole universe out of existence and make a new, grateful one in his own image.

They fight. Thanos is just about to snap his fingers again, but Iron Man rushes him and steals the stones. Then Iron Man snaps his fingers, erasing Thanos from existence (along with his army) but dies himself in the process.

After his funeral, Captain America goes back in time to return the stones but decides to live out his life with Peggy Carter instead of coming back immediately. He then passes on his shield to The Falcon.

Better cinematography and action (watched them back-to-back), but regarding what you complained about in Infinity War it indeed gets much worse (partly due to time travel being a big part of the plot).

I personally think it doesn't *really* have plot holes (e.g., of course Captain America will last longer against Thanos than the average hero with stronger powers; that's not because he's more powerful but because he keeps getting back up right up until he can't), but if that stuff bothers you then it bothers you. It's still better than any other superhero movie made, largely because they finally built up the universe to the point where they can have the scale, grandeur, and stakes that other franchises failed at translating from comic books to the big screen.

I focus on the story. impo, if the story is bad, then no matter the drama, violence, graphics, comedy, etc. If the story is bad, the movie is bad. (note the impo)

If you want to know what I do like, some good examples would be Shrek, Shrek 2, the first Avengers movie, Gravity Falls, Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, and Doctor Strange.
