Right, so I host my Virtual Warfare games a lot and it's like big maps, big amount of players a ranked FFA.

Virtual warfare are basically Diplo Roleplaying games that I host, they're rulesbound templates.

Right, back to the story. So here's what happened, I'm playing in this game that I host with Game of Thrones template. ( PM me if you want an invite to the the new one)

It's been 13 turns so far and suddenly some players have gone rogue. They have started attacking smaller players, thus one breaking the rules (making them PE by the rules) & one Enemy of the realm (A rule that was made by current King)

So the yellow guy blatantly claims that I messaged him to attack other players XD And I literally read that and I was like nooooooooooooooo ahahaha. (I really didnt lol, I only play the rulekeeper in these games.)

And yeah, maybe you thought it too but he just claims its photoshop lol.

Now obviously, I have my claim that I'm right I've not even spoken to the player in 13 turns of the game. (maybe thats why he wants to attack me too lol.) I just thought it was interesting how the games turn out sometimes. I've hosted other Virtual warfare games too, in GoT template, atm there is 1 game where a player started at the whitewalker spot (He was pushing down with huge numbers for that game) and trust me. In this game, if you end up there you might end up winning the entire 18 player FFA cause you've got a chance to be OP AF.

I really like coming on Warlight and watching these events take place in different diplo games. Wbu? Why do you diplo if you do and if you dont? Why not?

I like to role play in diplos, but they're so annoying because so many players leave so soon. When I make diplo games a max 5% boot rate will be a requirement.

Honestly if you want my advice for diplo games, the trick is to plan it in advance with a group of players you know well and that will follow the rules and not leave early.

@Trolldemort, yeah thats what I've been doing now with a few new games. Im thinking of hosting a realtime europe map tomorrow after my courseworks.

Agreed, drama makes for excellent games.
I enjoy the diplos for the roleplay; it's fun experimenting with different tactics and outlooks and seeing how other players react to it.

where I'm being a happy, pacifist Russia. As a result, most nations in the game are pretty nice to me, and (to the best of my knowledge) aren't actively plotting my demise.

So I tried a different approach the next time, creating a Democratic People's Republic of Central Africa, with its dictatorship and rising poverty levels and all the trimmings, and as a result I have plenty of countries itching to nuke the hell out of me. But the Great Leader doesn't give a crap and continues to abuse his people regardless. :D

The only problems come in during the latter stages of the games, when you've got plenty of large players all in their own alliances, and nobody wants to trigger World War III. They usually end in a VTE, transforming it to a FFA or everyone surrendering to the lowest level player.

im in a diplo clan and most games are with mostly clan members, with some randoms that we are testing once in awhile. we havent had anyone leave midgame or anything like that so thats not a problem. but I've had my fair share of players lying to try to bamboozle everyone. i dont really see it as a problem. thats a strategy.

Yeah, its a pain to get randoms to conform to any self-imposed rules. Premades with people you know are the way to go.
