This season's division A and B are the most even A and B I remember seeing. "Weaker" B clans from season ago (TJC, Hydra) dropped out, MASTER relegated itself to Qualifiers, and all the hungry long-time div C clans finally got their spot in B.
I didn't follow strategic WZ very well lately, so I might be off with my predictions.... but here it is:
division A:
1. ONE! - best lineup. Strong playerbase, many stars like Beren and PJ, I believe they distance their competition by a mile. 2. Sninja - players like rakleader and almosttricky continue to be some of the best on the site, they gained Jäsar who is also strong. 3. WG - a clan that got completely revitalized. As many as six debuts on the lineup, most of which come from Hydra breaking up, the remaining ones being GuestNWHSzY (from Prussian Ward) and clivan (new player, or an old face with new account?). Overally this is an interesting team, that can either explode or fly. 4. Outlaws - not for a second I believe Platinum's shitposts. :P 5. M'Hunters - avoided relegation thanks to GG's boots, but their lineup just looks strong all around like always. 6. Statisticians - can't say they look lackluster anymore. The "big three" of Yeon, Math Wolf, Jackie is reinforced by Nauzhror (if he doesn't boot), and players from previous season like Gus are all there too. If they avoid boots, they can put up a good fight. 7. Lynx - this doesn't look good. While there is a lot of veteran stars, most of them come from retirements or aren't as active as they used to. Not relegating will be a success for them.
division B:
1. Apprentice - it looks like the apprentice has outgrown the master. Many really good players, like Cowboy, Min, Maik, sloppy... I don't see any weak spots here. 2. GG - if they care enough, they can easily get this promotion spot. 3. 101st - Hydra, French Community and Acme co. merged into one. With so many clans falling apart it's no wonder, there has to appear one that gains as heavily as 101st from those collapses. 4. FCC - the invisible hand of Xenophon might bring them up even higher. 5. NWO - they lost Star of the East and Arcturus, and gained Pichu, who might be a loss in herself (sorry). There are still good players in Benoit, cj13, Gustaf and they can bring their clan some points. 6. CORP - well, we represent a stable level of competitiveness, and since we were fourth in previous season's division C by a margin, I will be positively surprised if we can overtake any of those clans. 7. VS - three of the most famous VS players - Demhunt, Glamorous, Inside are not there... even Buns and Nack are not there. Yeah, I think they might do even worse than CORP.
division Q1:
1. Brothers in Arms - like CORP, they always play on their usual level (though it's lower than CORP's). 2. Illuminati - Hail Hydra! 3. Avengers - Will DanWL actually play, or make scenes like in the past? 4. V.I.W. - just a tip: changing your name to "recruitment time ! join us !" (especially with spaces before exclamation marks) won't bring you any recruits. 5. Harmony - too bad NoMercy doesn't play; IIRC Glenn Parmentier is ok, but that's it. 6. Celtica - clan known for its spam invites, which probably didn't attract them any talent. 7. Varangian Guard - typical diplo clan, I don't believe there is any skill there.
division Q2:
1. Blitz - well, what can I say? Most of this lineup is MASTER Clan. They basically can't finish lower than 1st. 2. Hawks - there are let's fight, Cicero, Thor, so they will do decent like always. 3. The Wizards 4. Discovery 5. LEA 6. USSR - doubt they improved at all since last season. 7. Nuke Diplomacy - clan name says it all
