British Raj will presumably have to stay as it is.

It looks like Cookies doesn't honor vacations as well.

If you have to change Cookies, then I guess you could change British Raj as well.

Those 4 overriden bonuses are what makes a difference between a bad template that would never have been selected by the panel and a good one, which was voted high enough by the clans.

I'd suspect neither Edge (who posted the template), nor the template panel, nor a majority of the clans had realised we were dealing with the bad one.

I posted the Raj template like it was posted the seasons before.

I also don't mind any of the 2 versions. It's like someone said. ME or MME both are fine templates, so i like any of those 2 Raj templates as well.

And obviously if Cookie was submitted differently than u need to fix it. For Raj i say that whoever doesn't like this version should have submitted the other one to let the panel decide which of the 2 gets to the voting stage.

It is something worth discussing.

Cookies weren't changed. They were fixed (a missing connection was fixed). We can safely assume that noone wanted to play on a map with a broken connection. While fixing the connection, the distribution mode was changed by mistake and it stayed like that on the spreadsheet for a day or so. But the version submitted was random warlords and the final version will be random warlords.

Raj situation is different because there are 2 versions and both are being played competitively - one in AWP, the other one in MDL and QM. Choosing the other version now wouldn't be a fix but a change. It may or may not be doable, but it's a different case for sure.

As for things like boot times, vacations and booted teammates turning into AIs - they don't matter. Ultimately they'll all be 3 day boot, vacations honored and allowing to take back control 2 times after being booted in team games.

I guess we will have to deal with it then.

It could nevertheless be assumed that the ambiguity of the name of the template might have been misleading for a few clans. I don't think we would have voted it that high if we had figured out that it was this one (and I am honestly surprised Outlaws ranked it #1- hum, good luck to you, Njord ;).

But yeah, I could have expected that the righteous answer is that we all should have been more careful.

I would argue that it's the job of the template panel to go through each game's individual settings to ensure the settings are correct and to be aware of different versions of templates e.g Phobia on WR or SR. Otherwise I don't understand what a template panel is, quite frankly it's a bit of a fail if this is being spotted after the templates were voted and there should be a recognition from the template panel on this front.

So, which is the final template for British Raj?
