Hello all,

Thanks for everyone who sent feedback, please keep it coming!

I just deployed an update, v4.00.5, which fixes all the highest priority issues that were reported to me. Fixes are listed below.

Just like the first three threads, I'm looking to hear everyone's feedback on the new version or anything related the game at all.

4.00.5:
- Fixed a bug that caused an error when creating a custom single-player game while signed out and adding two "You"s to a game.
- Fixed a bug in the attack/transfer dialog that made it add a % sign in the wrong place when mixing percentage attacks and non-percentage attacks. Thanks to nich for reporting this.
- Fixed a bug that could cause an error if you double-clicked the accept-ladder-team-proposal link.
- Fixed a bug that made quickmatch team games say "FFA" in the title. Thanks to Bane for reporting this.
- Fixed a bug that caused an error when creating a tournament if you tried to select 1 player per game.
- Fixed a bug with the AI in commerce games. Thanks to Hasdrubal for reporting this.
- The "View Cycle" dialog in NLC games now scrolls instead of getting huge. Thanks to Scotto13 for reporting this.
- Android: Fixed the icon that appears in push notifications.
- Fixed the "C" hotkey for checking/unchecking commander. Thanks to Muli for reporting this.
- Fixed templates with mods in quickmatch. Thanks to Muli for reporting this.
- Fixed text colors on links on the tournament page. Thanks to Master of the Dead for reporting this.
- Fixed the surrender prompt in 1v1 games.
- Fixed WebGL loading progress bar moving backwards. Thanks to Njord for reporting this.


What's next?

The iOS app was rejected due to some obscure rule about not requiring signing up to an account to purchase in-app purchases. Other than bug fixes, getting the iOS app deployed is my highest priority right now.

News about new graphics will come in a couple weeks.

Not sure if this is a bug, but this beautiful player has gotten points recently when they’ve been suspended for eons.

It’s probably an achievement, and he got the second birthday one last month, but that was longer than 30 days ago.

it doesn't bother me much, but isn't it intended to be at least 20h interval between spins?
Also, i got another wheel spin prompt yesterday (11/19/2017 after 18:29), but after ads there was 'sorry, you can't spin now'(or something like that) message.

On my android ad didn't even show up when I press to spin the wheel. Therefore, I do not ever get coins.

I just raised my game count on qm md and instead of one new game got two.

Also I believe I should be able to disable the wheel spin since I payed for my membership in order to play without ads and now I am getting popups(!). Or did I miss that option?

edit: I got a rt qm at the same time? Not sure whether this was a simple misclick then. But I think qm rt should be named appropriately.

Not sure if this is a regression. If a player has a lengthy url on their profile, it only renders two "columns", and the third column is displayed in a new row.

I don't like the location of the dashboard button. I have to make an extra click to get there now. Much like when we lost the "open games" button, it was a "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" kind of thing. Also, this is a purely aesthetic thing, but I don't like the camo background. On the plus side, the warzone logo is great, and it continues to be a fantastic game over all.

Quickmatch gives me some trouble when i am working in another tab or in another program. Got the game starting sound in a match today when it had already started for 4 minutes

Overall I have to say I quite like the 2.0 version, especially that starting positions are easier to spot. Commerce games seem like fun and quick match is a nice addition.
Found one thing though, that i don't think works as intended. I just got matched in QM with a guy that has been last seen 5 days ago in a game with a 1d 6h timer. Maybe you should disable the queue for people that are offline for longer than the game turns are.
(addition: just got matched with another who has close to 3d). For now I can just up my own amount of games that i want to play, to work around that and find an opponent, but i think i've read somewhere theres a cap on the amount of games, so that might become a problem if that list fills up with inactives and i have to wait until the boot timer runs out.

A few minor points:
- I kind of miss the "next game" button, especially now that you have no way to multi tab with unity.
- Tournament lobbies even more hidden (have to switch window/tab then navigate through site to find them, unless i overlooked something)
- Preview full Maps: old version -> one click on the left side ... now: open settings tab, then go to full settings and finally find the button to view map. Why not just add the button next to the mini map in the settings tab directly, or better yet move the mini map to the game lobby between game name and setting symbols, with the option to click it for preview, or with the button for it.

how come there is a slight difference between my 1v1 and my global rating, although i only have finished 1v1 games so far and therefore those should be exactly the same?

Yes, but you can queue up a spin. In other words, if it' been 40h+ since your last spin, then you can get two in a row. It isn't possible to queue up more than one, so even if you wait a year between spins you just get two and then you're back to the 20h timer.

Sorry about that. Does this happen every time, or is it just occasional? I'm working on a way to turn off the coin wheel more permanently for those who don't want it, but right now finishing the iOS app is the highest priority.

Yes. When you click the magnifying glass, it moves the dailog out of the way and shows you the map. Since the dialog is now on the right side, it gives a second close button to allow closing it without dragging the dialog back.

Unfortunately the nav on the old website was very broken on mobile devices. It was fine for 2008 when that website was made, but these days everyone expects your website to be mobile-friendly, which means everything has to fit and size correctly on small screen sizes, which the old website didn't. Further, Google penalizes non-mobile-friendly sites, and WarLight was getting penalized hard by it.

This was the WebGL client? What browser? Was it in a inactive tab, active tab, or its own window? Some browsers don't give much/any CPU time to tabs when they don't have focus, so this may be the cause.

The deployment slider + e-mail visibility settings were pretty useful.

Quickmatch automatically disabled on accounts that are idle for 5 days exactly. So perhaps the game got created when they were just under 5d, and by the time you checked their profile they were over 5d. But yes, this already happens, it sounds like you just happened to get someone who was right on the edge.

I kind of miss the "next game" button, especially now that you have no way to multi tab with unity.

I do have plans to bring this back, it's just in a long list :)

The plan is to bring tournaments into Unity as an official feature, and fix a bunch of tournament's biggest issues too.

That page is already REALLY crowded when viewed on a small screen. Fitting things on small phones takes a lot of work.

The amount of rating you gain or lose depends on your opponent's ratings for each category. For example, since you're really good at 1v1, defeating you in an FFA will give less rating to the FFA category than defeating you in a 1v1 would give to the 1v1 category.

How can i see the settings of a template in Quickmatch? Or only lets me check and uncheck it
