The plan is to bring tournaments into Unity as an official feature, and fix a bunch of tournament's biggest issues too.

This sounds very very exciting!
Maybe during this development do you plan to implement cool new features like best of X format and seeding? ;)

On Android app I find it difficult to select teritories on very edge of screen without excessive zooming. Like Svalbard on ME or MME hiding under cards or QUIXOTRY (right side) on Scrabble hiding under orders opening panel. If I try to drag a map e.g. trying to put Svalbard in center of screen, when I release finger it runs back to the edge. Could it be dragged to some distance from the edge?

I want to report a History bug.

How to recreate:
Open history then view any turn that's not the most recent turn.
Exit History.
Open History again, the Orders will show the turn that was last open, everything else (map, players, turn counter) shows the *correct* most recent turn.

From now on, I'm going to ask that all bug reports get sent to http://warzone.com/ReportBug. The reason is because it asks important info, like what client people are playing from (Android / WebGL / Standalone / Flash / etc) as if they select WebGL it asks what browser they're in.

This saves me a HUGE amount of time. Most people that send me messages don't include this info (not just in this thread, but everywhere). I always have to try and figure it out based on subtle clues in their message. Sometimes the message is so generic I really can't even tell if they're in Flash or Unity. This is why ReportBug is greatly preferred.

After opening chat and then going to private, the chat box isnt the active part for me, I still have to click in it.

I agree it would be nice for it to have focus by default. I'll fix that.

I can't introduce the number of troops to deploy or attack manually because the keyboard don't appear. I tried to click and press the number and nothing happened so I always have to use the selection bar.

Hmm I haven't heard of this problem before. Does the keyboard appear in other places reliably, like chat, or is it only the attack/transfer dialog where it fails? What about the deployment box?

It can be turned off in settings, uncheck "Group attack/transfers"

The game takes forever to load, sometimes literally. Like I just leave my computer, take a shower, eat dinner, wash the dishes, game still hasn't loaded.

I assume you're talking about the WebGL app? I agree it's slow, but it shouldn't be that slow. It sounds like something failed. Can you open the debug console on your browser and send me the output at fizzer@warzone.com?

Since spins are given out once every 20 hours, then every 6 days you'll get 7 spins. Here you show 6 spins in a 5-day stretch, which is expected.

it would be great if we could disable wheel spin!

It's coming, but bugs and the iOS app have priority.

3 days are common but 1day 6 hour

The idea is the game should advance once per day. But if they were a 24h boot time, then people who play at the same time every day get screwed since they have to keep taking their turn earlier in the day than they did the previous day, and that's not sustainable. So 6 hours were added as leeway.

By open replays you mean you can't view history? What problem do you run into when you try? Are you getting an error message?

I can't find the option to hide the first characters of email.

This concept will be gone completely in the next update. The first few characters of email address will never be revealed, and the setting to turn it off won't be necessary so it won't exist.

Please submit feature requests to UserVoice. Right now I'm overwhelmed just trying to stay on top of bug fixes and shipping the iOS app, so new feature development isn't even a thought. Also this is already a mod, so the first way this feature will become available is when tournaments can use mods.

The work-around for this currently is to select the "All" setting from the drop-down then use Ctrl+F to search the page. Alternatively, you can go to Create Game -> Change Map and use the search feature there.

I've been playing single player warlight for a long time. i like it as a casual mental challenge, rather than the serious challenge that another player represents. It's an escape.

I would suggest that there should be some criteria for the endgame that will allow the AIs to surrender after the game is clearly in the player's hands. I can see any reasonable criteria being used for this -- e.g., if we suppose the player's per-turn army count is 2x or 3x that of the SUM of the opposition AIs, then that game is defacto over, and they should allow you the option of accepting their surrender (some people may refuse the surrender and like grinding it out but it gets tedious).

I suppose, yes, you can just quit the game but that seems raw.

My favorite solution for that problem is autopilot. If you don't know, autopilot lets you click a button and have the AI enter orders for you.

So the way you can use it is this: When you get to a point where you've overwhelmingly won, start clicking autopilot. If you have, then autopilot will sail you to victory in no time.

If you start using autopilot too early though, you'll see things start going bad. At that point you can stop clicking the autopilot button and try to turn the bad situation back around to the point where you're willing enough again that you can re-engage autopilot.

I realize it's a member feature but if you haven't, give the free trial a spin and let me know if you feel like this is a good solution to the problem you've brought up.
