How could you relate this? It is almost 1:7 odd.

We may only conclude that some good players prefer brown over other colors...

That's also the purpose of that thread. 4000+ games is a big sample already

Doesn't the API return the current color of a player? These numbers might not be accurate :p

p.s - You should share the API response for all the games you queried for(maybe Github?). If someone ever wants to do something in the future, they don't need to spam WL for the status of those games.

I may have messed up the 'saving everything locally' bit; the script only takes the colour and gamestate of a game and formats the data afterwards. The only thing i have is a text file with two columns: colour and gamestate.

Since the win percentage is usually 50%, regardless of skill level, it could be more interesting to see how high the ELO levels of players using certain colors is.

Yeah, there would be a very small sample size so it's not really interesting imo
