Fairly quiet week this week; not too many points snaffled up!

Just two mentions, then - one for nickpugs3 who makes it to the quarters of the second slam of the year (French Brawl) and one for 7ate9, the only new entrant in the top 16, courtesy of ongoing runs to the final of Fast Earth and semis of Gotham City (both 250 series).

Small UI suggestion for the spreadsheet. Is it possible to highlight in a different color the scores for tournaments that the player is still alive in?

My first reaction is no; the script calculates how many wins a player has, rather than tracking anything to do with losses - however, I will double check with the more technically-competent members of the team!

malakkan is the top scorer this week (and the only new entrant into the top 16), mainly due to a run to the final of the Battle Island V Masters 1000 series - he'll be waiting a while for an opponent there, with the other side of the draw much slower!

Timinator is the other big climber this week - 385 points lifts him up to second in the leaderboard, and comes mainly from ongoing deep runs into the semis of the Strat 1v1 Grand Slam and quarters of the Masters 1000 French Brawl.

ps-ews reached the final of the Numenor 500 tournament, whilst Timi and Aika reached the quarters of French Brawl.

Lots of movement this week!

rakleader is the top scorer this week, shooting to the top of the pile courtesy of 840 points - most of these came from the first Grand Slam of the year (Strat 1v1) as he became the first Slam finalist of the year, but a healthy chunk also came from a run to the final of Numenor.

Timinator stays second, but bursts through the 1,000 point mark, mainly due to his ongoing run to the Semis of French Brawl (Masters 1000). tornado picks up a number of minor placings to cross the four-figure threshold, as does ps-ews who reaches the final of the second 500 series of the year - he goes one better this time to pick up victory on Numenor vs rak.

Aika is the only new entrant to the top 16 this week, picking up points from an ongoing run to the Semis of French Brawl, as well as reaching the Semis of Numenor.

After a quiet scoring week last week gave me an excuse to have a week off, we have a double-update to give this time!

malakkan is comfortably the highest scorer in this fortnight - he's made it a French "un-deux" by racing up to second in the leaderboard, having made the finals of both of the first two Masters 1000s of the year. He's sat waiting for an opponent in the first final, but faces this weeks second top-scorer Aika in the final of the French Brawl tournament.

Just the one new entry to the top 16 - Min34, which most of his points coming from a run to the final of Pangea Ultima (250 series).

Two big performances this week; tornado picks up 405 points this week, with 360 of those coming from advancing to the final of the first Grand Slam of the year - he will face rakleader in the final; they are already the top two in the leaderboard, so whoever wins there will build up a healthy lead and confirm their place in the season-ending Tour Finals, even at this early stage!
Aika was just beaten into second place this week, picking up 400 points - they all came from winning the Masters 1000 French Brawl tournament, defeating malakkan in the final.


7ate9 and sloppyfatginger break into the top 16 together, tied on points as too neatly!

The first Grand Slam of the year has finished, and it was rakleader taking the honours, beating out tornado in the final, and already securing his spot in the 2025 Tour Finals, even at this early stage! The second Grand Slam of the year is well underway, and the first quarter-finalists are known - 7ate9 will play the only new entrant in this weeks top 16 - RynoFury, whilst Jackie Treehorn has also reached the same stage.


Elsewhere, congratulations to both 7ate9 and alexclusive who have filled up their 500/250 series points with 45+ points hauls, showing strong consistency, and those who have won at least one game in the first 5 majors of the year: ps-ews, CraZy, TR-8R and John.

No change in the top 16 over the past fortnight, so just a couple of mentions for the big points-scorers, naturally dominated by those going deep in the major series.

Timinator was the top scorer this time, racking up 490 points, with the bulk of those coming from a run to the Semis of the second Grand Slam of the year, on Biomes of America. The other confirmed Semi-finalist, 7ate9 picked up 375 points between updates to sit second, and with ongoing runs to finals of Fast Earth and Cosmo Land, and Semis of Master Mania (all 250 series), there's a strong chance of more points to come!
The other big scorer this week, with 300 points, was CraZy - he beat rakleader on the Gotham City 250 series to win the only completed tournament in this update.
