I do think that besides chat, the entire UI is too large for a computer monitor.

If we imagine that mockup as the phone app held in landscape then it works.

I like the design of the interface quite a bit. The cards sticks out a bit too much though... maybe redo their design a bit to fit with the overall UI?

It's...different. I don't think I'm alone when I say that I like to stick to what I know; while this could be better for the mobile app, I just hope that we have choices in interface.

- Make the space between the chat, between the orders, and between the players smaller. I really don't like scrolling, and in big games, having 100+ orders will make it even harder to scroll. I don't see a reason why tehre's so much space between all of those, other than visual. But I don't think we want to sacrifice function to make it more visually appealing

Also that black/white "0/5 troops...." don't quite fit in with the rest of the color theme. And it also takes a lot of screen space. If the idee is that the black box is "holding" the cards it makes a bit more sence, but still takes way to much screen space. Why not put "0/5" under or over the gold?


Also the "flaps" to drag up chat, and put orders/players look quite big. I think they are smaller in the current unity build?

Overall the mock-up design does a good job at making it feel like a classical board game.

2nd, Жұқтыру too. I think having the options to change themes would be cool. Might just be possible to allow for user made themes at some point too?

A new version is out! Here's what's changed:

3.21.0 2017-08-17:
- Added quickmatch part 1. See the blog for full details.
- Signing out now deletes saved login data if it was previously saved, so if you're using a friend's device you can ensure they can't use your account after signing out.
- Mods: Added Resource parameter to GameOrderEvent. Thanks to dabo1 for reporting this.
- Switching pages on a paginated page now scrolls to the top. Thanks to Bane for suggesting this.
- On the My Games page, players without a color now have a gray background instead of black.
- Fixed a bug that caused My Games to always show the generic map thumbnail even when a game-specific thumbnail was available. Thanks to dabo1 for reporting this.
- Fixed a bug that made commerce data not save correctly in single player games. Thanks to Galatime for reporting this.
- Fixed a bug that made mod data not save correctly in single player games.
- Fixed a bug that made orders not restore if the game was closed right after orders were entered. Thanks to Foghorn212 for reporting this.
- Fixed a bug that made the blacklist not load correctly on automatic sign-ins. Thanks to dabo1 for reporting this.

This version is released to all platforms except iOS. I'll upload the Android version tomorrow morning, so it'll be slightly delayed, but Standalone/WebGL should have it now.

I agree that would be useful. However, auto games are going to be going away (see the blog), so it's not really something I want to spend time on.

This seems to work very well, even if a friend enters the information of his account, I get logged in into my account and if you try to load a game then, the error couldn't authenticate happens.

By the way for the refresh button would be F5 a good hotkey, since it has none at the moment.

When a game is waiting for other players to commit and you have committed, is written under the modify order button, that I will receive an email when it's time for me to take my turn, but I have notifications for that in the settings disabled, maybe you should change this message.

Bugfix update:


3.21.1 2017-08-20:
- Added the number of quickmatch games you've won to the quickmatch page.
- The end game dialog no longer shows quickmatch ratings that didn't change.
- Unchecking all templates no longer produces an error. Thanks to TBest for reporting this.
- Fixed a bug that could cause the loading spinner to become stuck if you closed a game just as it was advancing to the next turn. Thanks to Muli for reporting this.

All platforms except iOS will receive this update.

@fizzer I like the new design, but can we have the colour scheme be red, blue and black instead of green,
green and green(or have an option to change the colour) the old colour scheme looked better.

That's true, especially when playing on a mobile where the screen occasionally freezes for some milliseconds, accidentally pressing the commit button can be a real annoyance.
Why not add a confirm button (which could be turned of with a checkbox like "do not ask me in future" so that everybody can decide whether they want commit confirmation or not).

This design for the mobile version is extremely frustrating to use one handed.

Putting the turn order stuff at the bottom would make it a lot more user friendly.
Preferably bottom right but left also works.

With how the buttons currently are set up it's almost impossible to manually scroll through a turn at any reasonable speed and still see the screen.
Right now I have to use my left hand to scroll through a turn.

I've only read through the last page of this thread but I'm surprised there aren't more people who like to use their phones one handed as much as possible.

+1 for moving commit button further away, the warning only helps when you haven't pit any attacks in and not when you go back to change your deployments.

Another QoL improvement in the android app would be the ability to turn off auto rotation to landscape mode.

I have rotation turned off on my phone and to have only this one app automatically switch to landscape is just plain frustrating!
