Masters (1) decide Turtles deserve a beating this week and steal 9 points from them alone. The other 3 points they get this week come from their win on Phobia against French, which contributes to French's official relegation from Division A. They have a net gain of 12 points this week.

ONE! (2) officially secure second place with their win against Turtles on VI and Lynx's loss in Phobia to French allowing ONE!'s Total Points (TP) to exceed Lynx's Max Points (MP) ceiling. They have a net gain of 3 points from PJ's win on VI this week.

Lynx (3) get a nice little boot on Phobia to finish this week with a net loss of 3 points.

Turtles (4) get shafted by everyone this week, losing all of their completed games. Biches contributes 2 1v1 losses, while the Turtles' team performances are plagued by boots and non-joins. They have a weekly net loss of 15 points and a corresponding decrease in their MP ceiling by 15 points.

Outlaws (5) can breathe a sigh of relief, as they are now officially safe from relegation. Both French's loss to Masters on Phobia and Outlaws' win against Turtles on Strat ME allow Outlaws' TP to surpass French's MP ceiling. Outlaws have a net gain of 3 points from their only completed game this week - their win on Strat ME.

French (6) despite being officially relegated, manage to scrape a decent week with both a win and a loss on Phobia evening out their performance this week.

Blitz (7) have no completed games this week.

Lots of (semi) noteworthy things happened this week, with Beren rigging ONE! into second place, Deadman rigging CL against Turtles to push Masters' win rate above 80% again, and Outlaws... somehow avoiding all this rigging by securing their tenure in Division A for another season. Congratulations to Outlaws for remaining in A next season, and better luck to French in Division B.

Wow Outlaws could potentially get 3rd place (statistically speaking)! That would conclude well an awesome come back!

Masters finish CL with an astounding 8/11 tournament wins (the other 3 going to ONE! and Lynx); another impressive statistic in their already impressive list of impressive statistics for CL9. On the opposite end of the spectrum, the Blitz team is one loss away from passing Lynx to become the dead-last team on FE.
    
  • Some bad news for Masters (good news for Styxie, since she almost made me cancel my trip to Canada so I could update this game), as they lose the possibility of sweeping FE due to their loss against Outlaws. Apparently everyone fucked up in this game. What do I know. Masters finish FE with a 5-1 record, while Outlaws grab another win to potentially snag a podium finish. Meanwhile, ONE! are still slower than Turtles...

  • Bad week(s) for ONE! on Volcano Island, as PJ017 loses his final two games against Outlaws and Blitz. In the match-up of the subs, Njord demonstrates how to use a substitution well - scoring a win for Outlaws (actually, scoring all wins for Outlaws on VI). However, this game pales in comparison with the brutal sludge fest that happened between PJ and awesomeusername of Blitz which lasted 21 turns. A really fun game to watch (possibly the best one I've seen yet), but ultimately good delays and predictions won [spoilers] the match. Overall, the standings of VI have been determined. Even though there is one game left to play (Master Jz [Masters] vs alexclusive [Lynx]), the outcome doesn't change the standings as Jz will still be in first and alexclusive will still have lost the tie-breaker to fourth place (USA Biches of Turtles). However, ONE! did win the tie-breaking match against Turtles, so PJ edges above Biches to end up in a podium finish despite both having the same win record. alexclusive might even join the party if he manages to beat Jz, but he still finishes the last of the three as he lost both head-to-head match-ups.
