ONE! have one more game, against Outlaws, which will decide whether they sweep the tournament, but this game has no effect on the winner of the tournament. Congratulations to Beren and Muli! Meanwhile, with these losses, Blitz finishes Guiroma with an overall record of 1-5 (their one win coming from Turtles, so they are guaranteed 6th place). Turtles receive their fifth straight loss and have now secured last place (as even if they win their last game against Masters to tie with Blitz's record of 1-5, they have lost the head-to-head match-up against Blitz.). The only thing that remains to be seen for Turtles is whether they will go winless.

  • The best game of the week comes courtesy of the rematch between master of desaster of MASTERs and Buns157 of Turtles on AE (since Buns defeated MoD on the AE seasonal). Some very nice moves overall here which culminated in a victory for MoD (and a very nice game to review). Hopefully they play each other again in some other competitive format to finally determine who the better player is on AE. However, what this win entails for AE in CL is that MoD is now in a prime position to win AE, as long as he defeats (the currently undefeated) Bonsai. There is still the potential for Bonsai or Hades to win, so it will be a while before the winner of this tournament is finalized. What is certain is that Buns is now out of the race for first place.

he mentioned on skype that he does 1 category a week for the slammy awards so that should take another 6 months or so, i'm not following that thread myself either do i don't really care about how slow he is for that.

And yes I realize I can be booted/auto loss 1 hour after the vacation ends so if I was not online 1 hour after my vacation ended I couldn't have joined the game....

p.s - I was out on vacation as well and had no problems with my games which were waiting on me(to join).


EDIT - Based on your profile atm, it says that you are on vacation until 6/5. Counting backwards 10 days, this seems to have been activated on 5/26. You were also booted in this game(https://www.warlight.net/MultiPlayer?GameID=13475551) on 5/25 7:16:16. So, unless you activated a vacation for a day on 5/25 and then started a new vacation on 5/26 again, I think you may have overlooked a day when you weren't on vacation.

I can confirm what the logs are saying. I opened the game as I noticed that it was already over 3 days and 2 hours old to see what's going on.

To reiterate what Muli said, we both checked the game at that time, and you weren't on vacation at that time either.

Can't games not joined be replayed for next seasons ? Those boots are different from boots during game imo.

If anything, those boots are worse. Boots during the game could be because you're thinking about moves or waiting on a teammate.

A boot before joining a game means you couldn't take 5 seconds to open the game and click join, even if that would give you another 3 days.

Imo they are worse in higher divisions where all players should have clear understanding of what they are contesting for. In lower Q's where some players probably don't fully understand CL and it's numerous rules I would expect more no joins. Not sure if the data back that idea up however - from what I have seen there have been more no joins in higher divisions (although maybe those involved just made more of an issue or it).

Either Way battle for Relegation is continuing on fiercely!
