Remember, we're talking about a fairly even split here (49%-45%). Sure there's a 4% higher chance that someone with a college degree will be a clinton supporter than a trump supporter, but in practice pick two people with college degrees and you'll most likely get a clinton and a trump, with a possible gary johnson thrown in every now and then.
The same goes for other education levels as well. People without college degrees were split 51%-45% in trumps favor, which is only a 6% gap.
