Very good decision, Lynx. Now time for CORP to poach Semice and destroy their CL group. :) :)

I suspect more than one account has been hacked and is being used to spam. Could be Semice was also.

^ Wrong. I was in Skype conversation with Paugers, Adrijan and Żuktirł, the first two just thought it'll somehow be funny to flood forums (well... it's Paugers and Adrijan, you can't expect much from them xD). Serbia propably joined because he's a mentally destructed kid. And Semice, well, he was just being Semice.

@Koala, yesterday, several trolls attempted to attack Warlight by spamming several hundred posts on the forums. Semice chose to join them, which is behavior unbecoming of a player who claims to be a leader in this community... It isn't just our ladder performance that matters, it's also who we are, and what we do. I admit I am not the most polite of people for creating this post, but it is a subject I do feel strongly on: our clans are a community. If we do not accept certain behaviors, we must not allow it to happen next to our clan tags.

Oh wow I can't believe y'all actually pulled the trigger over something as silly as this. Odd how y'all elite clans seem to care so much more about the forums you barely even use instead of harmful behavior in actual gameplay.

Your call, I guess; to be fair, Lynx does consistently seem to hold itself to a very high bar.

Warlight in its entirety is a community. Such behavior is unacceptable if you want to claim that all you do is for the community's benefit. I've had enough of the other South Carolinian's behavior, and was horrified when another player mistook me for one of his alts.

A player of an elite clan is a leader. Off the ladders and on them. You don't get to own a clan tag like Lynx just by joining Warlight; you get there by being a unique person who enjoys playing this game, enjoys being part of what Warlight has to offer, and wants to continue to see this community succeed. Call me idealistic, but I want to know that if I encounter a random person from Masters, Lynx, GG, etc, we both can get along and understand each other's values. It is ideology that separates such clans from Darklords.

Of course, I think this is nothing but logical.

A player of an elite clan is a leader.

Disagree with this. A player of an elite clan is for sure not a leader in the community.
They might have a better chance of being one, but I'd say that only the people who actually add something to the community (organise events, clots, streams or things like Muli's user script) might be called "leaders". Even then their behaviour is important.

Of course those are leaders too; they are not mutually exclusive. But a leading competitive clan will always be a leader in its community, and its players will always represent that entity -- for better or for worse. That's true of all clans, of course: your players will always be representing your group, because anything they do, will have your clan tag next to it. That is a responsibility both the player and the clan has to accept, and if a player badly represents a clan, repeatedly, then it must decide whether it can continue to support that player's behavior.

Anyway. I know my thoughts aren't perfect, but I hope they at least make sense.
