giant frogs wasteland took me 46 turns to do, and 7 tries.. think I'm missing something :/
holy roman empire took me 3 tries to get it done in 18 turns.

I guess your talking about my level. No, you don't need to be faster than the AI (as far as I know it's impossible to be faster than the AI first turn, even with Auto-Pilot).

My levels all require no luck at all if done right, so they can be beaten every single try, regardless how the AI acts.

Muli's levels are great and I can confirm what he says above.

I didn't see them as Warlight levels really, but rather puzzles that needed to be solved. Especially Baltic Sophistication is amazing, really makes you think about the mechanics of cards.

Pretty hard levels aren't beaten in 3 turns...

I do have to wonder how many of the play attempts ate simply checking out the template. I know I've loaded a number of SP levels that intrigued me but had zero interest once getting details. Still counts as a play attempt despite no actual effort being made. Would be interesting to see how many attempts there would be if such false attempts were removed.

Would also be nice to have a better preview

Muli's levels are all great! Puzzles that require some specific insights to solve, very unique. Haha TBest I also thought to try to play faster than the AI on turn 1 for that level, but I couldn't even come close. I figured it out and tied the record soon after I gave that up. Also congrats Timinator on beating my Precarious record, 18 turns is really good!

TheWasteland is such a beautiful puzzle. GiantFrog killed it.

I love it when my sense of what's possible is shattered.

I first fiddled around and solved it in 17 turns.

I optimized my strategy and knocked my score down to 11 turns.

Then I looked at the record, master of desaster in 10 turns.

@%&! No way! He must have cheated. It's impossible to get Sungura by Turn 4!

But ... maybe, just maybe ...

I allowed myself to pretend that the record is real and that this is possible. I abandoned everything that I had tried and played with crazier and crazier strategies.

And then it clicked. Ohhhhhh, I get it now! That's so elegant!

I totally get what you mean Quicksilver! I went through all the phases too! I'm still stuck on 11 turns though :P

I dont know what can be better method to quantify difficulty than win rate just notice that there are elements which boost the attempts. For example wastelands hidden by fog need an attempt just to know where are the closed area of the map. At all in fog you need an attempt to know where are the enemies. In these levels all players made attempts just to gather the required information to win.

While in a level without fog, wastelands, army piles or any non-standard things the players have all information in first attempt and yet the first try is sharp action. These levels dont get the attempt boost from tries for gather the needed information.

Haha, Master of the Dead.

But it turns out that I wasn't done!

I realized that my solution for 10 Turns only works 20% of the time (depending on what the AI does). So, I messaged Giant Frog and it turns out that I had come up with an unorthodox solution.

But now I've also figured out the orthodox solution too, and it's rather neat! :P

Now, I'm going to see if I can solve Muli's utterly insane levels.
