We may have greatly underperformed in 1v1 games so far, but our team games are going so damn well.

Turtles pick up 3 more wins in a day! They look unstoppable right now. Buns clearly lied to us when he predicted them to relegate. It was all part of his cunning plan to achieve world domination!! Masters haven't had any new games finish and sit in 2nd place. Both the clans promoted from B occupy the top berths at the moment ;)

GG pick up a win and a loss to sit in 6th place. It's super tight in the middle though. Lynx win the first game on Europe this season to blitz into 3rd! Updating the table is so annoying due to such constant movement :|

WG's misery continues with two more losses. They are going to need a miracle to turn this around :(

Its way to soon to say much but it seems that WG's older, resurrected players aren't doing as well as other clans with fresh blood like Lynx.

Erg. Will be tough for us. Impressive strat Turtles & Masters. Well played.

Sad to see WG like that. But I'm expecting better for the next. WG will wake up soon ! (don't make me lie please)

On the League 8 overview page, could the win percentage formula be dragged down a few more rows to include the bottom couple of people please?

Masters bag their first win on 3v3 EU to reclaim top spot. GG pick up the first win on 2v2 China to leapfrog the other three clans and jump up to 3rd. Apex now occupies the 2nd relegation spot!

I just love how this season is shaping up. There are no free wins unlike the previous seasons where you always had one or two clans going inactive and giving up free points via boots. Every game is being fought over and it's just so competitive.

For Points Behind I just used a variation of the standard Games Behind formula:

((Leader Points Won - Clan Points Won) + (Clan Points Lost - Leader Points Lost)) / 2

Also, WG is really getting rekt.

Thanks for the consistent updates Master of the Dead! It's exciting to see what a difference one day can make in the standings at this point!

Masters were big favorites coming into this season, and so far, have proven their supporters right. I can't see any team seriously challenging them for first this season, especially with the way Apex has performed so far.

The Turtles have surprised me so far; I imagine they will drop in team games, but I could easily see them finishing third this season.

Lynx, French, GG are doing about as I expected. I imagine the Turtles will drop back to fight with these 3 clans for 3rd place. It's unfortunate that one of these clans will be relegated. My personal opinion is it will be GG, but I think all clans but Apex and Masters have a legitimate chance at being relegated.

Apex has done much worse than expected up to this point, yet I think they will eventually pull ahead and away from Turtles, Lynx, French, and GG.

I expected WG to finish in 7th by a respectable margin, but I couldn't predict this kind of performance from them. Hopefully they can grab a few wins soon and close the gap on 6th place.

So far this clan league has proven interesting; I hope it continues this way.

MotD your daily updates are great! Much better than mine, especially since they are more frequent.... I would assume that you would be willing to finish he season as scorekeeper?

Masters pick up another win to consolidate their position. MoD bounces back from a slow start to post a 4-2 record. This is his 4th straight win. He also conveniently goes on his first vacation on Warlight to celebrate his recent success! Rumor has it Jeff will join him and bring the booze.

Turtles pick up a win and a loss. Buns continues to dominate 1v1s. He has a 5-1 record overall. This is his 5th straight win as well! The top 2 are slowly distancing themselves from the chasing pack.

Lynx and French pick up a win each to rise above GG yet again. GreenTea has picked up 3 wins now to recover from his disappointing start to post a respectable 3-3.

Hades and Ze are the only two players yet to complete a 1v1. HHH would be proud :P

Ordering by points won percentage:

I think this is quite an accurate way of ranking, since by points is biased to clans who have finished more games, max points biased to clans who have played less games, and win percentage doesn't reflect the difference in points for team games.

Also results, since MotD is on strike:
Hades (Lynx) beats Reza (WG) on Treasure Map (because he's a total pro...)
MotD (Masters) beats Dom (Lynx) on French Brawl

Basically looks like Masters have this in the bag, that 77% points won percentage is filthy. Apex were really the only ones considered competition at the start of this and they've not been performing like they usually do, I can't see french catching up either, or turtles as we enter the team games.

After that it's a scuffle, French and Apex are the favourites to fight over 2nd place, but are currently in 4th and 5th, what's going on?!?!? Turtles have impressed us all in the 1v1's, the team games might knock them down a peg, but hopefully they can hold on tight. Lynx was predicted to relegate by most and are somehow in 3rd, stupid Lynx, never doing what they're told. Meanwhile GG has slipped down the leaderboard like a squirrel on a freshly greased bird feeder and look like they'll join WG to relegate. I imagine WG will grab back their dignity in the team games, but they'll need a miracle (or a boot fest) to save them now.

I have to agree with Nikolai, the fresh blood clans are sending the old elites to their retirement homes right now.

I looked over some of Verzehrers games and imo you can definitely win some games, playing like him, also in clan league A. The WG lineup might be indeed the weakest in division A, however 1:14 doesn't reflect their playing strength at all. The other lineups also aren't completely filled with the best of the best. Even with their pretty sure relegation spot at this point, they are one of the top priority clans to get promoted again next season then. What some of the top ranked division B clans are doing there is way more sad than the mistakes the WG players are getting punished for.

Only one game finished today, so I'll post the scores tomorrow.

I lose on French Brawl to pick up my first loss of the season. Buns picks up two wins to ensure Turtles keep the pressure. Buns is 7-1 at the moment and may well end up as the MVP for the turtles. He has also contributed to over 50% of the points for Turtles thus far.

Verzehrer boots against both Buns on Strat ME(weaker position), and LeMarsellais on Guiroma(on picks). After the start WG has had, they are really not in the position to concede games on boot. I hope they haven't thrown in the towel, as there is still a long way to go.

Lynx beat Apex on 3v3 EU to pick up a vital 5 points. They've made a great start to the team games and that puts them closer to the top end of the table. They're just 5 points off of the Masters and have a reasonable shot at first place. They're also 15 points away from 6th spot, which is where a lot of folks predicted they would end up.

Apex and GG have not had a great week. They're falling behind the two clans above them. However, as we've seen with Lynx, all it takes is one good week to turn it around completely at this stage of the season.


p.s - @Zero, please avoid partial updates. It makes it hard to keep track of games which are yet to be reported. Just look through all games finished or wait for someone else to do it.

@Deadman: My apology. But just to be clear, my comments are *never* meant to be updates. xP

I just like to comment on how the clan league is going without waiting for an official update. I'll make sure to clear up my next posts so that people do not confuse them with updates.
