AIs are not only hampered by fog but have the additional disadvantage that they don't have access to the history. They only see the current board, the picking stage board and the previous turn board. Apart from that they just forget.

I wouldn't let any current AI play for me on small earth coin games but if players could let them pick this could be a problem since even the "slow" Wunderwaffe's speed is in the dimension of a couple hundred miliseconds.

As for pickspeed I think you need to click "Begin" before you can open the Autopliot menu. You could pick faster (not saying as fast, and good through.) That being said, I would not support use of AI in coin games. In fact I am pretty sure it violates the ToS.

Auto-Pilot is an advantage for Members, and the Small-Earth Coin template should be replaced by something more strategic, maybe Duel.

So... Autopilot violates this? Yes or no?

Yes.

Btw, the new AI completely breaks all single player scenarios that have more than 10 AIs and maps with more than 1000 territories, so I would very much like to be able to use the old AI in some single player scenarios.

I am talking about furure perspective. It is a step in a bad direction.
And it wouldn't be difficoult to implement AI using the start button on browser.

Glad to see SR on the EA&O. Still want AI replacement for boots on 3v3 ladder. We were WAY ahead in a game and Summer got booted. We'd still win easily with the AI using her income, but it will be rough with a total loss of that income.

Sweet update.

Itd be cool if in the future you could make objectives for single player levels. Like instead of having to kill all enemies, its "conqure this territory" or "dont let the enemy cross this line" or "survive X turns" or "ferry the commander from point A to point B"

The army setting needs to be fixed or debugged,I've tried on mobile and computer.It crashes the internet and app every time.
The new AIs are a great idea and present a challenge in Warlight

@ps I am not a technophobe. In fact I am into technology very much (studding computer science atm) but I know how chess AIs work, saw them playing for people on many servers and I think it will be to much for Fizzer to manage with hipothetical cheaters.
Also you are saying it is for people who stall in RTs, who knows maybe people will stall even more, using AIs to that or knowing they have a chance becouse of playing vs one...

I doubt a warlight ai will ever be as good as a chess ai so i don't think we should worry about a scenario of that kind
